"Overall, things were very nice. A couple of things that would make things better: the beds are past their useable life. Everyone struggled to get comfortable and when they did, woke up with back pain. The rugs slid very easily, should have backings to keep them from sliding."

Although the weather was uncooperative and we were unable to enjoy the outdoors, the indoor offerings more than made up for it. No unexpected surprises, everything was as described. "This was our second stay at this lovely house on the river. We had 6 adults plus our dogs, so we were thrilled to find a place to accommodate such a large group. Enjoyed the front porch overlooking the river, which was big enough for all of us to use at once, and made use of the back patio with grill. Many charming antiques throughout the house and a beautiful (and large) hand made dining room table. We brought several kayaks and really enjoyed the river. Stairs are steep from the main floor entrance to 2nd floor which is the main floor of the two floors included in rental. Nice and bright in day throughout unit. Balcony is nice and overlooks Main Street. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, and university."

The kitchen and bathrooms make you feel like you are at home with no detail overlooked. Each room offers a little slice of Western Pennsylvania to include the peaceful front porch.
