I loved staying here! The service was amazing and kr was a nice room that was well kept. I’m glad there was so much parking because I’m not from the area and I was worried about that, I would definitely stay again!

Our room a bathroom were so dirty. The tv didn’t work an I had to clean it myself. The manager had me help him get a tv from another room but the new tv had issues with the picture.

Great stay! The friendliness and hospitality we were shown at check in is above and beyond expected. Super helpful. Room was clean. Bed super comfortable. Everything we needed for a quick two night stay. 5 minute walk to the beach. No need to worry with paying for parking. Will definitely stay again.

The room was quiet and had a view of the ocean. We booked a two queen ocean view. Room and shower area were very clean. It's a three minute easy walk to the beach. Also, the management was very helpful and friendly. We'll be back.

Excellent location with easy access to Crescent Bay beach and close by to a trolly stop for access to downtown Laguna Beach. It is walkable to the main shopping areas, but best to take the trolley. They have a nice shower area for coming back from the beach and some chairs and umbrellas you can take down with you. The property management was very helpful with information about the area and the ocean view room had a wonderful view.

Lovely little hotel, for the price in the area, we couldn’t really expect anything more. Good service. Nice view, walkable to the beach and easy to get to many beaches. Wish the beds were more comfortable, though.

Wonderful Stay
We had a wonderful stay and my favorite beach was only a 3 minutes walk away. I will be back again. Their hospitality was wonderful.

The hotel seems great for the price. The bed is comfortable and the room nicely organized. The Wi-Fi seemed to be a bit spotty but other than that it was great.

Amazing little hotel by the beach
Very good hotel. Everything is clean. Bed and room is spacious. Front desk very helpful. The only bad thing about the area not the hotel, is it is more residential and tourist. Restaurants and stores close at 8.

Great value hotel close to Laguna Beach
Great place and good value. The rooms have been updated and are clean. The only issue we had was not being able to get the TV to work….but it may have been my lack of technical savvy.

Smaller Hotel with Ocean View
This is a smaller hotel which is about a 5 minute walk to the beach. This is a steep walk down to the beach. Sal, at the front desk, was friendly and helpful! My room had a beach view so it was nice to open my curtains each morning and see the water. The room itself was nice except for the carpet. The carpet is old and gives off an odor when entering the room. Also the air conditioner didn’t work so we were given a fan to cool off the room. Luckily it was cool outside so we were able to leave the window open.

Check in and out was easy, room was nice and the bed was surprisingly comfortable, usually hotel beds hurt my back but this was quite pleasant. Awesome to have parking for times you’d like to walk down to the beach. It’s a very popular spot so parking is often very hard to find. I really liked that this property was away from the heavy traffic area down near the main part of Laguna Beach. Will stay again for sure!

The best part of the hotel was the room itself, which in contrast to the exterior of the hotel appeared to be completely updated and refurbished,. The exterior of the hotel, such as the decking and exterior stairs, show some definite wear and tear. The front desk person was quite helpful and friendly, but asked for a $30 fee to check in early (I arrived around 1 PM). I declined, saying I would return at 4 PM. The desk clerk relented and waived the fee. I've never been asked to pay an extra fee for early check in, and don't see the point of it: Either a room is ready, or it isn't. Here's the bottom line: for a clean room, a safe environment, and a reasonable price, this place is what you're looking for. If you are more comfortable in newer hotels/motels than in ones that show a bit of their age (this one is over 40 years old), look elsewhere. Lastly, an advertised 3 minute walk to the beach...um, more like 8-10 for the average human. On the plus side, the hotel is only a block or two from the free Laguna Beach Trolley, which can get you almost anywhere you need to go.

The staff was so friendly and accomodating. The gentleman walkes usnout and showes us all the great spots to check out. They had chairs, beach toys, beach shower, etc. Loved the location!

SAL is the best!
This is a “no frills” motel (exterior entrances) within walking distance to the beach. Rooms have been entirely renovated and are very nice and very clean. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. You can walk into the Main beach area, or take a free trolley, it’s a very good location. The best part of our stay was the staff… Sal is one of a kind, and easily, the nicest motel manager you will ever meet! He went out of his way to meet all of our accommodations and was always asking what else he could do!! Thank you Sal!

The property is close to the beach - walking distance. Crescent Bay Cove is a fun beach. And they have restrooms. Crescent Bay Inn is a short drive from downtown Laguna Beach. Close to lots of beach towns.
