The hotel is a good location for walking to and from Disneyland, and it is a bonus that you pass some fast food restaurants on the way (convenient to grab coffees to go on the way to the park). But, we found the property very much run down since our last visit 5 years ago. We did stay in building 4, which is not renovated, so I can’t comment on the newer rooms. Our first room stank very much like sewer as soon as we entered, so we requested a room change, which was granted. We then moved to our room in building 4, which was adequate for what we paid. Unfortunately, the room had a damp, stale stench, and was very old and run down. The shower did not get hot water and the water pressure was poor. The fan was old and very loud. I can say that the pool areas were good amenities and appreciated. Overall, unless you are staying in the newer buildings (which I can’t offer comment on), I would look at other hotels in the area that seem very comparable in price and are just as close to the park. I am not sure we would rebook because of this.
