The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was decent, air conditioning worked well, the hotel itself was quiet.
Some physical aspects of the room could be improved. It would be nice if the window had a grated screen over it so you could enjoy a breeze without having to worry about a bird or bugs flying in. Like other reviews mention, the shower doesn't have any sort of barrier to keep water from seeping onto the floor.
Also, while this is out of the hotel's control, there is a nightclub across the backlane that seems to operate on the weekend. We stayed for 4 nights and only noticed the noise on Saturday, but we could hear people outside until 3 or 4 in the morning. Again, out of the hotel's control but perhaps better insulation around indoors could help muffle some of the noise.
Overall, we had a comfortable and relaxing stay.
