Nice and homey cabins
Subli guest cabins is a good deal if you don't mind having no internet service or if you have a pocket wifi or mobile data on your phone. They have nice cabins and the ambience of the place is nice. Good hot shower, good AC, they have nice and freshly washed towels. Just make sure to book it in advance so that there won't be any booking problems due to overbooking.

We got free electric shock treatment
overall, it was good. but, we got electrocuted in the shower on our last night. it was scary! my wife and daughter was in the shower when i heard screaming. i came to the rescue and saw my wife on her back on the floor. i thought she slip and i rushed to help her and i got electric shock. good thing my 6 year old daughter was spared and managed to ran out. i tried 2 more times to help my wife and got electric shock every time. i ran out and shout for help to please turn off the main power line. we were very lucky to got away with few bruises and scratches and stiff muscle. no offer to bring us to the hospital and we did not get any apologies on the next day. as if nothing has happened. i hope they will do something on that faulty shower heater. they were lucky that none of us has pre existing medical condition.

The place is just fantastic by itself and the staff knows already. However, it seems like they feel sometime to be at first experience. They offer a good service even if sometime there is some lack. The place is relaxing and feel a good atmosphere of family. Good environment.

Cozy and welcoming guest cabins
Subli is an adorable place that's very cozy and welcoming. From the second we walked in we were in awe of how beautiful and well-kept everything was. The amenities worked great (the air conditioning was a lifesaver), and the owners were so kind to give us good recommendations for restaurants and even drive us there so we didn't have to pay for a tricycle! They also were very helpful in organizing tours for us on short notice since we were only there for a weekend. It's very close to the airport (about a 5-10 minute drive away) so getting there is very easy. The resident puppy is also absolutely adorable and we wanted to take him with us, but we'll do fine with the memories and wonderful experiences we had. I really didn't want to leave! If you're staying in Puerto Princesa, this is the place to stay!

Incredibly friendly staff. Beautiful grounds. Cabin lovely, nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast really filling and served on time. Free shuttle to airport. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again. Only issue is we couldn't stay longer due to our flights! Thanks Subli.

Humble and natural but friendly
Staff are really helpful and friendly. Breakfast is the only meal they do but it was delicious. They did help get some food delivered in the evening as Subli is a little distance from the main commercial centre. Very natural surrounds. Excellent value.

Very helpful staff with local experience
Subli is a good peaceful transit to El Nido option. The staff made our stay very comfortable and covenvient especially Juvy. The staff help with local transportation in town at no cost. Wire transferred a deposit I was unable to pickup from the motobike rental company. The rooms are basic and have hot showers. I spent most of the time in the game but or common area. Again, if you want to support locals and can bare basic accommodations for a night. This is the place for you.

The place was nice, the service was very good, but there were hundreds of mosquitos in our room. I am not exaggerating. We spend 2h killing them before going to bed, and still woke up with bites all over.

Tucked away treasure
Great atmosphere with several cabins and a couple hammocks under a massive mango tree. Open air restaurant with made to order complementary breakfast including fresh fruit. Super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are simple and worn, but clean. Complementary shuttle not only to airport but also to locations around town.

We stayed two nights in subli and we really enjoyed our stay. The stuff was really nice and welcoming and super helpful with everything! The location was a bit far from the center but it really wasn't a problem.

The very best of Philippine Hospitality
If ever you read anything negative about this place don't believe it. Yes, some furniture a little worn, but if you want a higher class place than pay a lot more for it at any number of expensive resorts. But the service you get here is exceptional, better than any other I have experienced in our travels in the world. Here are some examples: Most B&Bs or hotels may offer a breakfast included - but at their convenience. If you have to leave early, you don't get breakfast. At Subli they ask you what you want for breakfast - a full menu - and what time. 5:30 am? No problem. Plus not only do they pick you up at the airport but they will shuttle you wherever you need to go. What hotel in Puerto will take you to the bus terminal at 6am the next morning - or drop you off anywhere in the city that you need to go. Only Subli does this. And such a restful atmosphere with the native style cabins surrounding a huge mango tree, lots of birds llush foliage and flowers - like staying in a rain forest yet you are close to town. You wake up to the songs of birds. It is beautiful. The staff are warm and friendly and make you feel like family and the cooked to order breakfast is truly delicious.For what they charge it is a tremendous value and you can't find anything to compare elsewhere. All of this is why I love staying here and give it a 5!

Exceptional place
Wonderful place. Subli means something like 'inherited' and the place is made from wood and furniture inherited from their families. The ambience is great--very relaxing, complete with reading hut--and it's made exceptional by the staff who are super friendly and very helpful. Loved it.

This hotel's reputation is well earned!
This hotel has a good reputation on trip advisor and it is earned. The staff was excellent. The kid was there waiting for me at the airport to pick me up. The van was a bit old but it did its job which is what matters. The staff helped me to get my tours and my transportion arranged. The owner was very nice with good English. I really feel like they went that extra mile to make sure I got where I needed to go. The breakfast was delicious and promptly prepared. The things that might deter some is the location isn't the best. It's away from the main shops but the staff make up for it. They actually went and got some McDonalds for me. Also the airconditioner in my room was very loud as it was an older unit. It was so loud I had to turn it on and off in intervals so I could do anything.

First off, the service here is exceptional! All of the people that work here are so friendly, and I talked to them for hours just about life! They will help you with anything they can, and tell you all about the island of Palawan and the Filipino culture. I have 0 complaints about my 3 night stay here. Actually, I've never written a review for any hotels I've stayed at, but I like this place so much that I had to!! Feels like family here. Stay here and you will be happy :)

Great place to stay in Puerto Princessa ....
I had a very pleasant, relaxing stay at the Subli Cabins, all the staff were excellent. They arranged Entry Permits & booked my excursion to the Underground River Cruise, were ready to cook me breakfast every morning, although I never knew when I would wake up. Whenever I wanted to go anywhere they would take me ( if the Van was available ) or they were only to happy to call me a taxi / Tricycle. They took care of my clothes washing. Overall I was very pleased that I booked with Subli Cabins. Would do again !!

Nice and Affordable Hotel
I chose Subli because of the rating on Trip Advisor and it's affordable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast if very good. Fruits and free self-serve hot drinks and talking bird. Free shuttle from and to airport. Their driver will drop you anywhere in town at no extra cost.

A bit of Green
The property is fine for short stay, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the property. The cabins are small and and we found them to be rather spartan. The staff were helpful and very nice.
