Remote Paradise
This place was amazing, but needs a lot more information in the booking description. It is VERY far from town up a semi-rough road. For us, this was an unexpected delight, for others it could be otherwise. It is also important to note that check-in is not at the site, but at a sister hotel. This also requires advance planning. This property, while incredible, will require advance communication and travel accommodations. That said, once there, we felt like we had paradise to ourselves and the staff was over-the-top hospitable and accommodating. I would return in a heartbeat, especially knowing what I know now!

What makes for a overall score of 5?
What makes for a perfect score in overall stay is dependent on many factors and preferences that are different for a lot of different people. This is not a perfect property, but during our 3 night stay we had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful grounds and get to know Abel the owner, his son and a special employee named, Alfredo who gave us a 60 min. jungle walk. The grounds have a beautiful large tree growing next to a running creek with several water pools to sit in and enjoy a glass of wine. The room itself is a square, wood box with minimal furnishings. The bed is very comfortable and the Air Conditioning is effective. No internet. We brought wine and candles and borrowed a wine opener and glasses from the Winika Alterra restaurant. The property is new. They've received few guests and are learning how to share the positives and the passion for their property with their guests. Winika Habitat is a 40 minute drive from the Reception Desk at Winika Alterra. 75% of the drive is on a rough dirt road. Our rental sedan would not have made the trip. If you are a nature lover, adventurer or would like to be away from other tourists, this is an excellent option. If you are looking to explore the many sites of Palenque and simply sleep at your hotel, this is not the right fit for you. The propert has a very basic restaurant, but I suggest planning meals at Winika Alterra hotel which as an extensive menu. Highly recommned the Roberto Barrios waterfalls. The best.

Una bruttta esperienza
È già la seconda volta che mi inviate questo modulo non so perché poi inviava a expedia Mi cambiano hotel e non capendo bene lo spagnolo accetto forse perché bassa stagione e nell altra struttura non ci stava nessuno mi chiedono di integrare e va bene sai dicono questa qualitativamente è migliore ,e va bene poi dico ho sbagliato a valutarne la distanza da tutto perché non consiglio a nessuno non dotato di macchina di andare in nessuna delle due strutture o se proprio volete andarci considerate i costi dei taxi per qualsiasi cosa che vi porterà fuori dalla struttura La prima sera salda L aria condizionata e L acqua calda La seconda sera addirittura la corrente e quindi anche la possibilità della colazione il tutto poi condito dai morsi di zanzara costretto a dormire con la porta aperta per non morire di caldo I diservisti da me lamentati alla partenza sono stati trasferiti al nulla Ultima cosa prenotate i tour nelle tante agenzie o addirittura alla stazione degli autobus ADO in hotel si raddoppia

Mala experiencia
No tiene la ubicación que señala en la página, Está a 12 kilómetros hacia adentro en un camino de terraceria terrible, al llegar allá no hay más que una casa de madera con unos cuartos súper calurosos y ni cómo regresar a la civilización . Decidimos perder nuestro dinero y no quedarnos ahí.

Schönes kleines Hotel mitten im Dschungel
Da wir später ankamen als erwartet hat uns der Hotelbesitzer vorgeschlagen, im Hauptsitz des Hotels zu bleiben und nicht mehr in den Dschungel zu fahren. Am nächsten Tag konnten wir aber eine Führung durch ihren hauseigenen Urwald erhalten, was uns auch an Winika Habitat vorbei führte. Eine gemütliche Perle mitten im Urwald. Schwer zu erreichen, aber man kann seinen Wagen an der Rezeption des Hauptsitzes stehen lassen und wird vom Hotelbesitzer hingefahren. Die Besitzer und alle Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel ist erst ein paar Monate alt und es wird viel wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt. Wir haben unseren Trip nach Palenque dank Winika sehr genossen!

Totalmente recomendado hospedarse aqui si lo que se desea es salir de la rutida, convivir con la naturaleza, descanzar etc. aceptan a los perros y pueden estar libres en el area del hotel, el personal muy atento y amable.
