Nice quiet place to stayPosted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Many pools to choose from and decent fitness center
Cons: see above
Location: I visit the desert at least once or twice a year for the heat and peace
This was a nice quiet place to stay, the pool service staff was awesome. The rooms could use some updating, although classically nice, our refrig froze all the food and drinks we brought. The spa was nice although expensive compared to most of the desert resorts I have been to. The restaurant food was good at Adobe and Twenty6. The housekeeping service was not great, we left tips and requested that they leave robes which should be in the room anyway, and they did not. They also didn't leave any coffee to make for the morning. All and all a nice experience, I would stay here again and probably just ask to be in a more updated room

The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, however, we still had a lovely experience while there. It is quiet and peaceful. The hotel staff is very accommodating.

Location: We had no need to leave the facility, we went to the Tramway on our way back home. It was great.

Huge good value resortPosted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: The numerous pools Garden like grounds
Cons: Communication of activities at the hotel
Location: There's a few restaurants near by but no real night life.
I stayed at La Quinta for 4th of July weekend. I stayed at a "casita" in order to have easy access to the pool. The hotel itself is lovely. The hotel grounds are gorgeous and you can easily be entertained by simply walking around and enjoying the garden like grounds. They have about 40 pools! They range in all sorts of sizes and functions but I thought that was pretty awesome. My only complain is that the room seem a bit small and that I had no way of finding out what about the activities going on at the hotel. I wish they would place a schedule of events in each room to inform guests of whats going on. Overall it was a lovely stay.
