This is a tired property in which the rooms need updating. The A/C is noisy. It is in a great location if you want to explore downtown Palm Springs.

I was really excited to experience one night in downtown Palm Springs. I was attending a concert and looking forward to a one night stay. Overall, the stay was good, the staff were very nice and understanding. I enjoyed the early morning soak in the hot tub. Maintenance was continuously working on the grounds to keep the grounds looking good. The room was a little dated but clean. We had one downside, when we first arrived, we tried to get into our room, we were locked out. Found out there was an authorized couple in our room. The property worked expeditiously to get another room for us as we were on a timeline to get to our concert. They didn't have a double room as requested and settled for a King w/a rollaway. As I understand they were almost fully booked, I can't complain. We saw that the bathroom screen was ajar and figured they accessed the room through that screen. Although a key is required to access the grounds, there are multiple gates on the back side of the motel that can easily be accessed by unauthorized persons, thus leaving me w/ a concern for safety. They offered to waive my ~$22 resort fee, but feel our time and inconvenience could've been compensated a little more.

For the price I was surprised how decent the hotel is. It’s clean, staff are very professional and nice. Shopping and restaurants are all walking distance. Great location if you want to be in downtown Palm Springs. The only complaint was the loud AC & the toilet would clog easily and had to ask for a plunger. Room #206 if y’all want to avoid that room. But overall I liked how the room had a fridge and microwave. We were able to save our leftovers and reheat them. We liked the little patio where we could enjoy a few drinks and relax. We would stay here again.

Rates were competative to other motels in area until we checked out and received additional fees (25.00 night) for the spa, in asking for a explaination from the desk clerk We were told because we booked through expedia.com this additional fee wasnt billable through expedia, just when we were at the resort. And the Clerk said it is disclosed in the check in papers. Wished I would have known when booking, I could have stayed closer to conference center, and would'nt have the worry of (EXTRA FEES) when checking out.

This property is so beautiful! It’s great to have a dog friendly hotel, and this certainly is one of the best. We had a downstairs suite close access to the pool and right in the center of downtown Palm Springs. This property is established with mature trees, and the aroma from the citrus blossoms was so soothing and calming.! the staff is courteous and kind and you can’t beat the free Starbucks coffee in the morning

The Expedia images shown for this property was of the pool and the rooms surrounding and facing the pool with balconies. I was given a room in the back of the property with a shared patio (with 3 other rooms) and the patio reeked of dog pee. The patio faced the parking lot. These were the accessible/pet friendly rooms. When I booked I thought I'd be getting one of the rooms facing the pool so obviously I was disappointed. Also, my room could have been cleaner. For example, the bathroom mirror was filthy. I loved the location, but I was disappointed in my room especially for the price I paid.

Overall, the hotel is very nice and clean. It is a short walk to downtown and connected to the convention center. I was fortunate to get upgraded to a suite. The only drawback was the long walk from the elevator to the room.

The bathroom vent over the shower was caked in thick build up of fluffy dust. The elevator was dirty and the carpet on the elevator floor got worse by the day. House keeping could definitely be better all the way around.

Great location just a block from downtown and the many shops and restaurants there. Hotel was quiet, but bed was lumpy.

This hotel is in a great location, and the grounds and pool area are beautiful. The rooms really do need a refresh though, change out carpet, modernize bathrooms and new beds. Past responses from the Manager indicated a refresh was in the works but that is just lip service. Overall though it is right near downtown, and is priced well. You can’t go wrong staying at the Palm Mountain resort.

It would have been much more convenient if the property had an on-site bar or fresh sandwich type foods even delivered daily. By the time we left, there was evidence of dog excrement on several parts of the lawn, and one part of the walkway. There did seem to be quite a large number of dogs on the property. The decor in several of the rooms was generally quite dated, and certainly could use a refresh.

The rooms are a bit dated, but they were really clean. The property is nicely maintained, manicured and took me back to an old movie setting in classic Palm Springs. I would recommend staying here, it’s conveniently located in the heart of Palm Springs. We walked to dinner and breakfast.
