Sitting right on the beach! THE SAND CASTLE

Vacation in the lap of luxury!

Sunrises and sunsets, nestled on the white singing sand, The Sand Castle is reminiscent of a time long-gone by. Sit on one of two large ocean facing decks, one completely screened in, to watch dolphins frolicking in the water and the pelicans diving for their dinner. This is a natural habitat for sea turtles who lay their eggs right on the beach. If you're lucky enough, you may even spy a bald eagle soaring overhead!

Enjoy time on the beach fishing, kayaking (3 doubles), swimming and soaking up the sun. There is a bathroom on the beach level along with an outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off the sand and salt!

After a long day of relaxation and play, head upstairs to a perfectly stocked chefs' kitchen to prepare your catch of the day. Here you will find everything you need to create the perfect meal.

After dinner, spend some time on the screened-in porch hanging in the hammock or snoozing on the full-sized bed, listening to the waves.

When night falls and bedtime is calling, stretch out on fine linens, relax while watching TV or sleep with the windows open and catch that sweet ocean breeze.

The Sand Castle is perfect for a family, couples or even a friends getaway. HEAVEN on Earth!!

Perfect Beach Get Away
We had an amazing time relaxing and reconnecting with family and friends. This home is so wonderful, and you feel the love and details the owners have put into the home. Attention to details and many unique offerings make this a special place.There so many locations to relax and enjoy the sound of the seas and all day breezes. KItchen was incredibly equipped We loved the many hammocks and having a fire on the beach every night. Lisa was extremely responsive with our questions and we hope to return again soon.

I don’t want to give away this secret
This is a home that is perfection in every detail - even the ones you cannot begin to imagine you require. Sandcastle is a gloriously luxurious, peaceful, well appointed vacation home. If you are looking for peace and serenity in the most beautiful location imaginable, this is it. I saw more pelicans than people, more dolphins than cars and more stars than I’ve ever seen in a black sky. It’s like you’re at the end of the world. The level of physical comfort was as if I was at my own home. Thank you Lisa. Thank you for sharing this peace of heaven with all of us. We will be returning.

Lovely Place at a Great Location
The house was clean and comfortable with lovely decorations. The view was amazing from all areas of the house. Everything we needed to prepare all our meals was available in the kitchen.Just walk down the steps and you were right on the white sandy beach.Although it was too cool to enjoy water sports, the shore fishing was good.We definitely enjoyed the relaxing peaceful atmosphere at Sand Castle, Thank you Lisa and Robert

Fantastic Thanksgiving Week at the Beach!
My family had a fantastic Thanksgiving week at Sand Castle! The house is beautifully cared for and has most anything you could want. It sits on the sand with a gorgeous view! Lisa the homeowner is wonderful and helpful and responds quickly to messages. Her housekeeper even picked up and delivered our grocery order before we arrived. We loved our time on Alligator Point and in beautiful Sand Castle!

Perfect!!!!
Our stay was amazing! the views were stunning, the house was gorgeous, but it was all the little extras that improved an already excellent vacation. Our children and grandchildren loved playing in the Gulf, and doing some fishing. The beds where comfortable, but sitting on the porches in a the morning and evening offer a relaxing beginning and end to active days. I highly recommend this location, owners are awesome and easy to assist. Thank you for sharing your house for us to make many memories!!!

Always the Best Vacation Spot
The Sand Castle is our family's favorite place to stay, Rob and Lisa have thought of literally everything you could need for a relaxing beach vacation and there is no better spot on Alligator Point (or maybe anywhere!). The beach is quiet and private, perfect for kids to run around, the house is peaceful with unbeatable views, we've been back again and again and would recommend to anyone!

The Perfect Week
I had high expectations based on the pictures, but I had no idea how perfect this home would be in person. There is literally nothing the gracious hosts haven't thought of to make this the ultimate home for vacation. The views were stunning with many places throughout the property to enjoy them. The beds were possibly better than home; the linens were clean and comfortable; and, the showers were hot immediately! The kitchen had every amenity needed to cook a gourmet meal, but our best times were spent gathered around the bar snacking and enjoying the views. The home was also stocked with all the beach supplies needed for a great day on the sand! The chairs were brand new and provided many hours of comfort as we spent hours on the beach reading. Our last night we were able to take a walk to the sandbar and enjoy a spectacular view of the ocean under a full moon. You know it's a great vacation when the time just flies by. Our host was in communication with us regularly and was helpful with anything we needed. It was a perfect week!

Wedding Vacation
Staying at The Sand Castle was like a dream. Spent nearly 2 weeks listening to the waves hit the beach. Was married on the beach and spent the rest of the time just enjoying everything and relaxing. The house is beautiful and has absolutely everything you can think of. It's a very quiet area away from all the busy touristy stuff. Seen sea turtle and dolphins on a daily basis, and even manage to catch a couple small sharks from the beach. Overall just an incredible time and couldn't have asked for more!

Spectacular
Second time here for my husband and me. I just can't come up with words to adequately express how special this place is. For us, it's the best of two worlds: 1) Surroundings that are close to nature, very casual, quiet, even remote to some. And 2) A home that is high-end, beautifully designed and decorated, wonderfully comfortable, clean, well-stocked and well maintained inside and out. Lisa and Robert have great taste and style and Lisa is so great to work with. The views are stunning, sights and sounds of the surf so close to the house are thrilling, and the porches are to die for--always the perfect spot available whether you need sun, shade, a windblock, a place to eat, a view of the sunrise or sunset, even a nap. Uncrowded beach. Everything you could need is provided. And close to several amazing, scenic parks and nature preserves where we spent a lot of time and enjoyed walking, some biking, great bird watching and a few other wildlife sightings. This is our perfect winter escape. Many thanks to Lisa and Robert for sharing it with us!

Our favorite place to stay!
We have stayed at some other nice homes in Alligator Point, but this house is our favorite and stayed here a second time! Everything we need for lounging, cooking and enjoying the beach is all here. The home is beautiful, and the views of beach, the sunrise and sunset is perfect from the upper level of the home. We stood out on the balcony and watched so many dolphins swim by. The beds are super comfy. We would love to come again!

Paradise found!
To say that the owners thought of everything is an understatement. From the great cookware & spices to the beach chairs and water toys for kids. This place has things you never think about needing but not to worry this place has it. The views are spectacular and was a great place to unwind and reconnect with my husband. Sometimes we felt like we were the only people on the beach. We have stayed at many VRBO's and this one is at the top of the list. If you are looking to unplug, reconnect with family, and have the beach literally 4 feet from your back porch this is the place. Bring the family, put your feet in the sand ( not to mention your fishing rod ) enjoy the view of the beach, the dolphins, and catch dinner for the night ( If you don't fish there are plenty of places to buy fish or dinner for the night) Out of 5 stars I give them a 10. Perfect Retreat!
This was our third stay at the Sand Castle. All the adults have very stressful and long hours jobs. When we travel, we look for a place to just chill out, rest and relax. This is the perfect place for us. The property managers are wonderful to work with, the house is extremely clean and well stocked and sets on the beach.

A Wave of Rest
This property provided a much need moment of peaceful rest for the six adults in our family. The moment you walk in, you are flooded with light and a direct, up close view of the ocean. This view provides beautiful sunrises, sunsets and a breathtaking unobstructed view of the stars which is rare in other areas of the coast. The three levels of porches offer space and opportunities to make memories. The porch off the kitchen was one of the most enjoyable areas for eating and relaxation, with the beach and ocean in direct site. The decor of the home leads you to take in its creative details and sparks investigation and conversations. Collecting shells, and viewing wildlife at the waters edge, provided much entertainment and curiosity. The owners spared no expense to provide the best of all necessities, from laundry needs, provisions for the beach, entertainment, and a well stocked kitchen. We were also impressed with the well thought out detail of meeting possible needs. We enjoyed ourselves so much, conversation of returning to this home is in the works.

The BEST Away from it All Retreat
When COVID hit in 2020, our once crowded Disney and high rise condo vacations transitioned into renting beach homes on quiet beaches and we realized we had been missing out! The Sandcastle is a beautiful and well stocked house on the quietest beach we’ve ever been to. Our kids ran the beach point to point and maybe came across 5 people the whole time. They caught and released crabs each night and collected sea glass each morning. We saw sharks, dolphins, bald eagles, a magical amount of butterflies, and tons of sea birds. The sunrises and sunsets cannot be beat! If the weather is right, definitely take advantage of the bed on the balcony for a night. Waking up to waves crashing, a cool breeze, and a beautiful sunrise was definitely a highlight of my trip. As far as the house goes, the pictures just don’t do it justice. It’s the best shabby chic beach house there is. The included toiletries, paper towels, TP, dish/laundry soap, and the fully stocked kitchen really made a difference compared to other homes we’ve stayed in. There are a few restaurants (Panacea Pizza was amazing on our last night) within 20 mins or so, but we cooked most nights so we could enjoy the house. We never wanted for any kitchen gadget or tool. A quick note on location, as this was a bit of a shock to our older kids who are used to going to more touristy areas. This house is 30 mins from the nearest actual grocery store (not a big deal, we just planned ahead and ordered groceries from Walmart on our way in). For other incidentals and restocking purposes, there is a Dollar General about 10 mins from the house that is nicely stocked. This isn’t an area where you’re going to find a ton of restaurants without driving for 45+ minutes. You aren’t going to find souvenir shops (although Crum’s Mini Mall was enough for our kids and the owner was super nice). You aren’t going to find Go Karts, a cluster of shops, etc. You will find peace and quiet in a home with extraordinary views from basically every window. You’ll find a beach where you’ll (depending on their age) feel safe letting your kids stray a bit and explore. You’ll find swings and hammocks to sit in at night and you’ll wish you could hold onto the moment forever because it’s just perfection. The vacation this home offers may not be for everyone, but if you are longing for a vacation with simple moments, truly letting your kids be kids again, and relaxation, do not look any further!

Awesome Time at Alligator Point!
We had 6 women ranging from 45 to 86. We stayed 1 week. And it was not long enough. We enjoyed the house it was everything and more. The house was so beautifully decorated. Close walk to the water, plenty of shells and drift wood to search for along to waters edge. Definitely would stay again!

Fantastic beach house
The Sandcastle comes equipped with everything you need to have a fantastic time. Gorgeous views offer the opportunity to spot all types of marine life.
