“Great experience”
We stayed in Paris a mere 24 hours to break up a trip from Russia back to the States. The hotel was great, the staff were helpful, and the location is superb.
“Best little hotel value in Paris”
I hesitate giving the real truth about this hotel because it has been my secret hotel location for years, but because I believe it is the best value in Paris and they have given me years of good service, very clean and comfortable rooms, I must thank them for this. The Belloy St-Germain is in my opinion the best value in Paris and I have stayed in many other hotels there.
“Great Location”
The hotel was fine, comfortable with a Honor Bar, which I thought was a nice touch. A conference I was attending was handing out an official Paris restaurant guide, Paris Gourmand. A beautiful and recently restored Art Nouveau restaurant, Le Bouillon Racine, turned out to be across the street. Another excellent restaurant, Balzar at 49, rue des Ecoles, was a block away.
“"Great Location...super breadfast buffet"”
Belloy St. Germain was a friendly and helpful accomodation. Our luggage was delayed by the airline but the hotel watched for it coming. It arrived after one in the morning, so the attendant kept it safe until morning, rather than waking us in the middle of the night...very thoughtful. Breakfast each morning was more than ample for both my husband and me. Our room was cared for daily and the hotel provided us with anything we needed. The Belloy is centrally located in the Latin Quarter and easy to travel from to all the sights. Thank you to all of the staff of the Belloy. We would, without doubt stay at the Belloy St. Germain again.
“great location, lovely atmosphere”
Clean room, friendly service, breakfast a bit overpriced and just ok. Location, location, location! Close to Metro too. We had a very comfortable room, 3 twin beds, & 2 balcony windows.
“Great location.”
This hotel was clean, the staff very helpful, the continental breakfast include eggs, and a great location. The only quasi-negative thing I can say is that the rooms are small. But who stays in their room when in Paris?
“I want to go back to Paris & stay at this hotel again, so charming.”
I couldn't wait to write this review and tell you that you should stay at this hotel. Charming is an understatement! The staff is so friendly, helpful & they speak English. The location is excellent, you can walk to the bus or train stations in just a few blocks. Breakfast is provided which will save you some Euro's. Ham, cheese, hard boiled eggs, & of course croissants! At night; pastries in lobby. They have a small elevator and sometimes the wait was a bit long so we used the spiral staircase mostly. I would caution you that you have to be somewhat in shape for that, otherwise request a bottom floor. They "had" an ironing board and iron but they were never able to locate it for us, so I would recommend that you bring your own iron with adaptors. The staff did spend some time (2 days-trying to find it.) No big deal cause I had mine anyway. The staff helped with confirming reservations such as the Bateau Parisian, and gave excellent directions. Internet is available and we used it several times. It was so much fun to stay there. I want to go back to Paris & stay at this hotel again. It is so romantic and charming and you could not ask for a better staff. Oh and before I forget, it smells wonderful...like grapefruit every time you open your room door.
“A great place to stay.”
The hotel was very welcoming and convenient. Breakfast and internet access and tea are included, which made it feel very homey. Definitely would recommend.
“Excellent hotel, location; definitely recommend”
Small but very charming; perfect location (close to RER stop), free wifi, free water and drinks in minibar. Could not ask for anything more. Will definitely return.
“Have already recommended it”
Location is super; staff are very helpful; inclusion of breakfast and "tea" (on which some would make a meal), along with free internet access via WiFi (which works EVERYWHERE in the hotel), etc. make this a perfect choice -- for work (which is what I did) or play. It's not luxury, but it's very comfortable and, from my point of view, a very good value for one's money. Rooms are, from my experience, small (by US standards; normal for Europe), but well laid out.
