“seriously do not stay here! Spend the extra money and do yourself a favor!”
The bathroom is too small for the average person unless you are a 90lb model. The beds are sofa beds so if you want to sleep, you won't.
“Place to Flop”
My son and I just needed a place to shower and crash after each day of hacking around Paris for a week in September and PCPM was fine for that. The room was very small-the sofa-bed we shared filled most of it. It included a small fridge, microwave, sink, and 2 burner stove, 1 closet and a bathroom with sink and shower. It was spartan, but clean, and met our needs. We left the windows open (we were on the 5th floor) at night and enjoyed a cool breeze every evening. Breakfast was E8.50, but we did not try it, opting instead for finding something, typically a boulangerie, in the city. PCPM is a short walk from the Rome metro station which made for easy access to the rest of Paris. The surrounding area has a lot of character with some interesting places to eat and drink.
“don't book this hotel”
The only good thing about the hotel was the view if the Eifel and location. Dirty rooms, no internet service and way overpriced for what you get. The bathroom drain odor was terrrible. Torn and dirty curtains.
“A Fun Oldtime Paris Hotel”
This hotel is old Paris. It's what I expected and I was completely satisfied with the sleeping arrangements. The shower was extremely small but I adjusted. I was in Paris the way the local folk lived. One block from the hotel was a fun street to sit and have a breakfast or lunch. A fine hotel for the money. I'd stay there again anytime.
“Not for Everyone”
This cute little hotel is a true find for those wanting to experience a Parisian lifestyle without a lot of tourist areas. Not recommended for families.
“Off the beaten path....”
The hotel is in the 17th arrondismont away from almost anything touristy. The metro is three blocks away and there is a great street with tons of shops one block over. The rooms are small but if you are intending on spending a vacation in your room then you might be traveling to the wrong city. The kitchenette was a great addition to our trip. I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a good bargain in Paris.
“Worst of France”
From 5 days of my stay, three days I had no hot water to showe and the entir 5 days the room was cold with no heat also this place was not a three star hotel at all my bed wal a sofa bed uncomfortalbe and noisy.
“Regular”
The hotel was well located; we had a good space room but as many European hotel there were 2 separate beds instead of only 1. These two beds separated a lot from each other. The hot water in the bath went and go. You could never know if you would have a good warm bath at anytime.
“Got the best location if you want to experience local Parisian life.”
At first ,we were given a dingy room on the 3rd floor & then I complained to the hotel receptionist,Carlos, then he gave us a room on the 1st floor which is much better. The rooms are very small & not what you expect on the standard room in US but it has a charm to it & is located in the local neighborhood I would go back & stay here again. What I like also about this hotel is the friendliness & very accomodating attitude of the hotel clerks especially Carlos. He explained to us how to take the metro which has given us flexibility & saved us a lot of money. But the best thing about this hotel is the location, it is only a 1-2 blocks from the local market & every morning, we would walk to the market & mingle with locals,we have fresh coffee, baguettes, local cheese & organic fruits where you can truly feel the real Parisian life. Then we would walk to the metro station(closeby) & hop in & out of the train & visits all the Paris landmarks like the Eiffel tower, Louvre, Sacre Coeur, etc. We really love our one week stay in Paris & staying in this hotel give us a lot of flexibility. we would go back.
“Great value”
The hotel was in a great location. There were supermarkets and shopping near the hotel. Our first room was a little small, but the hotel manager was happy to move us to a larger room.
