Beautiful HotelPosted Jul 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed here for 5 nights in June and couldn't be more pleased with the hotel we found. After reading mixed reviews we were not sure what to expect but were very pleasantly surprised.. The hotel is spotless, pool area is lovely and well maintained, rooms very spacious and we had an amazing sea view, and the food and service was 1st class. Transfers were FREE, and they run a bus which is also free to the town on a morning and evening. You couldn't ask for more. Perfect for a relaxing getaway. We stayed here sandwiched between Athens and santorini so this was the perfect breather inbetween two busy resorts.

Quiet hotel, far from town, close to beachPosted Jun 22, 2013
Pros: salt water pool
Cons: customer service
Location: Very quiet location, far from town (8 Euro cab ride each way). Close to a nice beach.
Nice salt water pool and close to a lovely beach. The rooms were big and clean. Internet only works by the front desk and water pressure/temperature fluctuated quite a bit. Need a rental car to get to and from town (there is nothing within walking distance). Andreas (the gentleman who runs the restaurant) was wonderful and served an amazing breakfast. We had a frustrating experience with the front desk who told us breakfast was included when we checked in and then handed us a stack of room charges to sign on day 3 and were very vaugue about what they were for (as if we would not notice or ask). After inquiring, they told it was for breakfast each morning and our expedia reservation did not include breakfast -- our confirmation did not indicate one way or the other. It does not seem ethical to give room charges that late, but they did not see it that way.

Lovely hotelPosted Oct 6, 2011
Minois village is a lovely hotel, the rooms are quite spacious and very clean. We had a good size balcony that overlooked the pool and the sea with great sunsets. The gardens were very pretty and everything was kept beautifully. There is a beach close by that you can walk to which is not bad but we chose to stay by the pool which was lovely. Breakfast was nothing special but it kept you going for a few hours. We had dinner which was not too bad but you are better off going into to town. The hotel has a courtesy bus that goes to town twice a day but we opted to hire a car and explored the rest of the Island.

We came to this hotel at the end of peak season (mid-Sept). Due to the time of season there were hardly any other guests at the hotel, so we received very personable service. We had a beautiful room with an amazing view and the pool all to ourselves. Very friendly staff. New remodeled bathroom was awesome. The rooms themselves are a little dated, but nothing uncomfortable. We were told by another visitor the area we chose had the best beach. We were only there to transfer from Sifnos to Mykonnos, so we weren't able to explore. The beach looked pretty, however the cove directly in front of the hotel was filled with trash. You can't see it unless you walk down to it. Breakfast was okay. The other hotels we visited provided a better spread, but it may be because the hotel was about to shut down for the season and didn't want to bring in more food. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.

Very relaxingPosted Aug 8, 2011
Great service, friendly and helpful staff. Did not realize how remote the location was, but ended up enjoying just lying by the pool.
