Pattani Vacations

Don't restrict yourself to Pattani; this region has been blessed with plenty of natural and man-made attractions just waiting to be explored. Yala and Songkhla are just two of the many other places worth visiting while you're in Pattani.

While you are in Pattani, don't forget to spend a few hours exploring Hat Yai. Approximately 55 miles (89 kilometers) to the west, this regional city is where you'll find Songkhla Nakarin University, Tesco Lotus and Big C Department Store. Hat Yai Plaza, Kim Jong Shopping Center and Thong Baan Rai Golf Course are just a handful of the many other interesting attractions on offer here.

Sometimes, the most cherished vacation moments can be found in local eating establishments. If you are after a refreshing drink, South Thailand is a good choice.

Nothing opens understanding in this amazing world as well as language, so be sure to learn a couple of practical Thai phrases before you head off. "Yàak dtên ram măi?" is a good one to try. In English, it means "Would you like to dance with me?" "Kun maa jàak tee năi?" ("Where are you from?") is also helpful.
