"Alex and Pascale were excellent hosts. She went out of her way to make sure we had a room that worked well for us. She also took care to make sure we understood how each light switch, internet, skylight worked. She also made sure we had internet access and made dining reservations for us nearby that turned out to be excellent. Breakfast was preordered and at a reasonable cost. It was ready promptly at the time we requested. Eggs were perfectly prepared and bread and croissants were fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend this property for a one to two day stay to explore the Paulliac, St. Estephe area. Five full stars!"

"If you are looking for a quiet countryside experience in the Bordeaux region with some of the most caring and adorable hosts possible look no further. The rooms are very comfortable, the breakfast is always fresh and a great way to start a day of wine exploration in the region, and the overall atmosphere is very clean, peaceful and relaxing. The crew that manages the guests are genuinely helpful and will go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They patiently answered a thousand questions, even made dinner for us after their kitchen was closed when we came home hungry. The crew made our stay extra special. Notice i said come home. Thats how you feel at Chateau Meyre. At home!! Note: the Chateau is a bit remote and you need a rental car preferably or the chateau can find you a taxi but be prepared to pay for it since the distance to Bordeaux city and varied food options is a bit far. Highly recommend for an adorable French countryside experience. "
