Pemberton is within easy reach of many of Mount Laurel’s well-known sights. The Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and the Popcorn Park Zoo are amongst the popular places to visit. Also, well worth the effort are the Six Flags Great Adventure and the JB MDL Lakehurst Naval Base.
There are a number of natural gifts here as well, so don’t miss the nearby green spaces. Leave the busy streets behind and enjoy the sounds of children playing in tranquil places such as the Laurel Acres Park. Grab your camera and enjoy the well-used natural reserves for which this area is well known, like the New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve in Hammonton.
Spend a few hours high in the stands of Princeton University Stadium, Princeton, cheering on the much-loved Princeton Tigers. If you want to endear yourself with the locals, wear orange and black, the colors of the Princeton Tigers.
