I was assigned room 287, as we accessed the building, a nasty smell was coming out of it. I was not able to distinguish, but it was a combination between humidity and smoke from cigarettes. I went right away to the front desk, explained the situation and was assigned a different room. Still in the same building, the first floor was not that smelly, nevertheless, my family and I weren’t comfortable. Since this was a single night, we stayed, my surprise for next day I had a rush on my arms, I reported it to the front desk and because of doing my reservations with Expedia , they just reimbursed the resort fee, but I would like to have a word with Expedia or the facilities manager to obtain a full reimbursement. Additionally and to kind of help with the situation, they front desk offered a complementary breakfast, which was also awful, all the food was old. There is something in the building /facilities, they are dirty or not enough maintained, I don’t consider it a resort.
