Beautiful Fountain Hills Home
We enjoyed our stay in Fountain Hills at this lovely home. Everything was just as the photos showed and the backyard was peaceful and beautifully landscaped. Communication with owner was easy and check in was a breeze. We will definitely stay here again should we return to the area.

Edgeworth is Worth It
Basically, everything was as depicted on the VRBO website. Clean. Spacious. Adequately appointed. The pool was a plus as was the grill. Nice, quiet neighborhood and the independence of a single family home with a garage. Marijo was great to work with.

Serene Abode in the Desert
I was very pleased with the location & overall ambiance of this house - it seemed everything to do on our baseball Spring Training visit was fairly close: 30 minutes to great hikes & baseball, 45 to the ghost town Goldfield & Lost Dutchman Museum, and only 25 to Lake Saguaro Guest Ranch where we booked kayaking on the lake - just awesome. We walked to Fountain Park & groceries are only 3 minutes away by car. Even though the neighbors are close, the privacy was great - it was quiet and tranquil; stargazing was wonderful. The house was easy to access with the key code & we appreciated getting to park in the garage with the remote provided. There were a few hiccups, as the TV's are NOT Smart TV's as is in the listing & I was told; they have limited DirecTV satellite channels. The house does need some TLC to make it a solid 10 - the BBQ ignitor didn't work, there were non-working clocks (even after I bought new batteries), light bulbs were out, missing bathroom sink plug - stuff like that. Overall, we would definitely go back - we had a great time and enjoyed this house! Thanks Marijo!

Scott was sent the code to get into the house on Dec 1st .We were not aware that he did see it higher in the thread we had been chatting back and forth about Code for front door .Our desire was for him to have quick access to the House with code and also easy in without waiting for us to meet and greet.We are happy that he chose Edgeworth House .And are thankful for the condition the house was left in.

Winter Get Away
The property was well appointed and had everything we needed. The backyard and pool were beautiful and well maintained. The pictures on the site depicted the property perfectly. Mari Jo communicated quickly each time I had a question from the time we booked right through our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Dec 2023 stay
Clean and well situated near the Fountain and grocery store. Checking in information was not sent due either to manager or VBRO not forwarding the code information. Calling the manager phone number elicited no mail box set up and texting failed. Manager finally got message, ? from VRBO and called and met us to let us into the unit. Clean and well stocked. Guest shower plugged and we had to apply Draino to clear it. The TV set had only five stations and was not a smart TV so we were unable to stream content. Internet worked OK. Showers went hot and cold when other fixtures turned on. Back deck and yard nice but front drive way very steep so a little difficult for older people to load and unload car. Garage was nice although there was no remote garage door opener so we had to get out of the car to open and close it from inside. Fountain Hills is lovely and quiet yet close to outdoor trails and Phoenix, Mesa and Scottsdale sites. Mild disappointment with house but all in all had a good time and wonderful weather.

Perfect Family Getaway!
This home was the perfect getaway for our family of 4! The kiddos each had their own room and the trundle bed was super fun! This home has all that you would need for your stay - just bring yourself and suitcase! You’re very close to downtown Fountain Hills - near all of the shops, restaurants and parks. Loved the tranquility and quietness of the neighborhood and home. The backyard is so relaxing! The pool is beautiful but the water is still a bit chilly in late March/April to swim. We loved our stay and would love to come back next year!

My wife and I had a great time staying at Edgeworth. Marijo was great to work with. She gave us some great tips on local restaurants. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful, my wife and I walked it in the mornings. The location was close to everything. The backyard was beautiful and a great place to kick back and relax. We would definitely stay here again !

Good Rental Rate in Fountain Hills
Overall this rental is good and everything is accurately listed... however, this rental did lack all cable/TV.... we spent most of our days at a family members home elsewhere, but we had little kids and would retreat home early to put them to sleep and a lack of TV was a huge bummer. I would suggest the property owner to just purchase a ROKU or Apple TV (since there was internet).. It would have been a quick solution. Other than that they had plenty of towels, pillows, beds were comfy, and there was plenty of space. Pool was nice but not heated so pretty chilly for end of November!

Awesome property in a quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants, groceries and attractions.

We enjoyed our stay at your home. The kitchen was well equiped for all we needed. Backyard was beautiful! Master suite was so spacious. It is close to stores and a quick few minute drive to downtown. We would definitely come back and recommend for future travelers.

Clean, spacious house with great outdoor space
The house was very clean and spacious. The outdoor patio area was fantastic. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We weren't able to use the pool much, as it isn't heated and the water was still very cold (stayed in late March). Wifi was slow and inconsistent and the TV only got 4 or 5 channels. But overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Nice get away to the Phoenix area
Overall this place offers a good location to access hikes and the surrounding area towns. Fountain Hills itself was quite low key. Our teen didn’t fit well on the small bed with pull out mattress but the 11 year old was fine. We enjoyed the birds outdoors and lovely landscaped pool and backyard between hiking excursions.

Mostly quiet, nice area
Wonderful for bird watching. A bit noisier than previous years, with a dog that has spells of barking across the back corner of the property, but mostly peaceful. Near enough to all activities in Fountain Hills, and also easy to get to other locations in Scottsdale, Mesa, or other towns. Very comfortable and roomy enough to have a friend stay overnight.

Very nice property - kitchen had an excellent selection of pans, appliances, etc. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Shopping close by. Everything was great. Only suggestion is that the internet speed was slow and difficult to pick up in the master bedroom (where there is a very nice desk and working area).

Perfect getaway
The home was gorgeous and the perfect fit for our family. We loved the pool and hanging out on the patio when we weren’t off exploring parts of Arizona. The neighborhood was so quiet that you almost forget that you are surrounded by neighbors. Marijo answered immediately when we had any questions. The house is located in a nice area with many shopping and dining options nearby. I would highly recommend this place.

Beautiful backyard!
My mom and I loved our stay! The backyard landscaping and pool are beautiful. The master bedroom, master bathroom and walk-in closet are spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen works well and has all pots/pans/utensils needed for cooking. Tho only things missing from the kitchen was salt and a wine opener, but we walked across the street and met a friendly neighbor who opened our bottle of wine for us! Marijo was very responsive and kind to help answer our questions. She accommodated our needs for an easy check-in and check-out. Bonus: The Scottsdale Mayo Clinic is only 9 minutes by car. Very convenient. There is also a Safeway and a UPS store just a few minutes by car. Bring a bar of soap and shampoo/conditioner for the bath/shower. Everything else was provided (towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, laundry soap). I will definitely stay here again if I need to come back to the Mayo Clinkc in Scottsdale.

Great contact less check in. Beautiful clean home which has a great pool. The yard is a desert oasis with all types of birds such has hummers, grambel"s quail, flickes and many more. It was a great experience in a quiet area with dark sky's for srar gazing. Thank you Mari Jo.

Good trip
We enjoyed staying at this home and would recommend it. Location was good as we were 1 mile from the fountain and able to walk if we wanted. The kitchen was well stocked with essential items for cooking and the home had enough towels for our entire 10 day stay. We were able to get ahold of owner when we needed. Wish there was a hot tub ( thought there was - there was a pad for it ), heated pool and more channels on the tv especially since it was March Madness and no sports channels. We really enjoyed the backyard even though the weather wasn’t great.

Great home near everything
If you are looking at hiking and biking in the area this house is a great choice. Only a mile from grocery shopping and about 4 miles from McDowell Park. Browns Ranch is an easy 30 minute drive. The house is very quiet. We had the windows open at night and didn’t hear any street noise at all. The layout of the house is nice with a secluded back yard and pool.

So peaceful, but near everything
The weather was especially beautiful this year, but even with the last two days being rainy, it was a wonderful time for us. We’ve never seen so much green or so many flowers in the area at this time of year. The birds were especially active this year and so much fun. Sitting outside in such a quiet, peaceful location is so good, and yet all the restaurants, shopping and activities are close by. Marijo is very responsive should any difficulty arise, and we know we can contact her with any questions, yet she allows us our privacy and the feeling that Edgeworth House is a home away from home. We are looking forward to visiting again next year.

Great Family home, central location to all of Fountain Hills. Could be Awesome
We stayed for a week in this home with our son, his wife and two young daughters joining us for two days. The house was very well laid out for our time giving enough separation and space. The pool is elevated and separated from the deck area that the young girls gave it little attention. The pool is not heated so use is limited in a mid January visit. The temperature was in the low fifties. The house was clean and spacious with more than enough linens to meet our needs. A few more dishes and utensils would reduce the need to run the dishwasher. Marijo was very pleasant and available when needed. The house is starting to show some wear and some minor repairs would go a long way to making this an awesome rental house. We would return to this house again in the future and would recommend it to others.

Our house is gone over with a fine tooth comb after each guest exits the home.after this guest left we found the sliding doors handle broken and hanging off its normal position.We also found scratches on the leather sofa. These items were not brought to our attention and we also did not subtract the new handle and fixing the issue of the couch with this guest from their security deposit .

Comfort and Location
Staying at Edgeworth House was comfortable and enjoyable. We felt right at home immediately, and we were close to all of the major attractions of Fountain Hills. The back area is beautifully landscaped and has three or more great places to sit and read or relax. Though the pool is unheated, on a warm day, it’s refreshing . Marijo is a wonderful owner, responsive to requests and available when needed. Two minor problems (a smoke alarm needing battery replacement and a small leak from a faucet) were taken care of immediately. Grocery stores, restaurants and shopping are nearby, but the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. We look forward to returning.

A quiet area. Several things could be improved. Needed hand towels for bathroom. Master bathroom ceiling fan and light not working when we arrived. Needed more than one dish towel. The patio door threshold was very dirty. Needed room darkening curtains on patio door facing east in master bedroom. An outdoor grill is needed. Several screens needed to be on windows and patio door off bedroom. It’d be a great, economical place to stay with a few improvements. The owner was pleasant to work with

Barbara W. and her family were good guests at Edgeworth house.Towels would have been provided as black -out drape was ,if requested.Sadly, they disappear and we are sorry it wasn't noticed.The fan was in working condition but needed a switch and a pull chain to operate.Thanks to Mr. for mentioning he liked to" tinker" and was able to get the light working,much appreciated!The bathroom however had many other lights and a big glass brick window for a sunny experience.We are sorry the cleanliness of the entire house did not take president over a dirty threshold coming in from the desert,as mentioned.It surely will be addressed.

Will be a top-notch rental before long
This house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood minutes away by car from "downtown" Fountain Hills and, depending on your needs and the heat, in a "walk-to" location. Our regular destination was the Fountain View senior community, for example, and it was pleasant to go there on foot when it wasn't the peak temp of the day. Marijo is a very pleasant, responsive owner who, as of March '17, was somewhat new to the rental scene and still getting a couple of kinks out. I wouldn't hesitate to return on my next visit.
