There for a graduation.

Pros: Location and the grounds are very attractive.
Cons: Provide Bibles in the rooms. This keeps us from having to pack one. If someone doesn't want to use it, they don't have to.
Location: This is located near my son's home.
We were disappointed that there was no Gideon Bible in the room. We asked at the desk for one, and were told they didn't have them at the front desk, but would send one to the room. We never got it. We rarely stay at motels or hotels who do not have the Bible easily accessible in the room.

I expected it to be nicer because of just the name

Posted May 15, 2015
Pros: The employee at check in she was nice
Cons: Rooms need to be upgraded, they are a 70's at best.
Location: We were only there because we had to pick someone up from the airport We live 5 hours away.
I dbl and trpl checked for bugs, the carpet needed a good vacuuming. Actually needs to be replaced. I picked up several things as I kept thinking the place had bugs. It was very old. No bugs but I wasn't comfortable. The bed was hard and lumpy. We only stayed the one night, will not go back. I will pay more for a better room next time.

Not so much.

Pros: The distance to and from my parent's home.
Cons: Update the rooms. Replace the carpet and the televisions.
Location: Lots of old west stuff to see.
I stayed there w/my 13 year old grandson because it was close to my parent's home in Dreamland Villa. We were there (from Florida) to celebrate a significant wedding anniversary. This facility is not a Hotel/Conference Center by any imagination of the title. It is a standard motel and nothing more. The room I was assigned to smelled bad, the carpeting was old, worn, stained and the bathroom towels also worn, dingy and threadbare, good only for wiping down the counter (or used as any other rag). I borrowed towels from my mom for bathing. The television old and intermittent, (the sound would go on and off). The continental breakfast was fine until I noticed the sign that advised against taking food to the room. Signs, signs everywhere a sign...do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign...? Look I'm pushing 60, I don't want to smell strange odors that I cannot identify. I want plush absorbent towels and a clean floor, comfy bed. Fortunately, we didn't spend much time in the room. I wonder what the pool looked like? :-)

Not what it appears to be.

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: The moulding around the doors could be replaced. I had no sheer curtains so I could leave my curtains open without having others being able to see in
Location: It didn't appear to have too many things near by.
We arrived for our prepaid reservations on a Friday night. When we arrived we were told that 1 room out of the 3 king beds that I prepaid was not available. Once I told the clerk that I had prepaid for the reservation over a month ago, she "found" a room and put my co-travelers in one of the last rooms on the lot, which was on the backside of the hotel. The room I believe was 228. The door did not lock from the outside. It could easily be just pushed in to open. Not safe at all if you left your room. The carpet in room 228 smelled of mold or like it had been recently flooded and was not properly air dried. The beds were not too comfortable. The pillows were too small.

Motel has seen better days

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: It was convenient to the golf course we played. And there was free breakfast in the mornings, although nothing to write home about.
Cons: It needs updating, badly.
Location: This is one of the nearest motels to the Longbow golf course in Mesa, which was the reason for our trip.
The room has seen better days, as has the motel and grounds. There's a couch, but ours didn't face the TV set. The bathroom sink drain didn't drain very well; neither did the shower drain. And the walls and floors are thin. The people directly above us left their TV set on all night, and we got to hear their choice in programming. Odd thing is that the place wasn't very full, so I don't know why we were booked into a room directly below someone else.

quiet older hotel

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: Clean quiet room (except for AC), lovely grounds, good breakfast
Cons: New shower head, fix AC, put extra blankets/pillows in rooms
Location: Went to a new restaurant called "What the Hell"...had the AYCE fish fry..mediocre, higher price..fried are not AYCE, just fish.
First off, the grounds are just beautiful. The hotel is kind of off the beaten path, but there are businesses nearby. I had a ground floor room, with a sliding glass door opening out to a large grassy, treed area near the pool. The room was very large, and I was surprised by a small kitchen counter over the refrigerator and microwave. Everything was extremely clean, just older. They could stand to replace the shower head, and the TV is an old tube style, but with good sound and picture. There was a small table with chairs, comfy.Don't get me wrong, the room was very clean and comfortable, and I would stay there again, it's just older, and although some of the pictures are accurate, they make it look way more elegant than real life. There is an in-room AC unit that worked well, but was very noisy. I didn't watch tv till morning, and when I did, I had to turn it up very loud to hear over the AC. There was a nice continental breakfast in the morning. It included coffee, tea, juice, milk, hard-boiled eggs, a waffle maker, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, cereal...the basics. It was very good. The staff was very kind. The only issue I had was after I had gotten into the bed, I felt I would like a heavier blanket. There were no extras in the room, so I called the front desk, who said they had no one to bring it, but I could come get it.

They rented it???

Posted Apr 2, 2015
Pros: decent lobby and breakfast room
Cons: My room - 159.
Location: on a fairly desolate road, not much nearby.
Naked light bulb overhead in toilet/shower, wash basin/mirror light did not work, all walls needed paint job, wifi unavailable first night and morning after, furniture was like the grilling room in a police station.

Not What We Bargained For

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Landscaping.
Cons: Having the room ready at check in time!
Check in at 3pm was not ready. They are short staff. Revised reservation was lost. Not sure how this happens. Ended up in a double queen after reserving a single King. Computer in the lobby was not working. Fortunately the front desk was able to print off Boarding Passes. The landscaping was beautiful but the hotel left a lot to be desired.
