Nice tidy cabin. Kids loved the playground and jumping pillow. Having not checked in before their reception closing time, staff called to reassure us where they'd left the key and instructions so we could check-in whenever suited us. Thanks!

I booked a basic cabin which was lovely and clean. There were no coffee making facilities but there is a coffee cart on site which was great. Lovely pool and immaculate grounds.

Lovely park like setting, very quiet. The unit was excellent and beds very comfortable. The amenities were exceptionally clean and catered for all our needs. A congenial owner was very helpful. Short walks to the marina and boat club was a bonus. This was our 2nd stay so highly recommend.

I liked the cabin big enough with all the essentials. Access to a laundry was gold. Location near the beautiful Marina is priceless . Had all and everthing you need.

Friendly staff, great location just out of the township. Bathroom was a little pokey but served its purpose. Kids loved the playground and the jumping pillow. Bed was not the most comfortable but it did the job. We stopped here to break up our travel and have a rest before travelling further. Was a very popular location.

Thanks for your feedback - there are two microwaves in the kitchen, on a shelf under the bench. We will look at shifting them to a more obvious position.

Outstanding value in lovely natural surroundings. If you are fit, drive up to the Snout Trail and hike it to the Queen Charlotte Overlook! Cabins have TV, WiFi works great, far enough out of town (Picton) that you need a car. Cabins and bathrooms are spotless thanks to a superb housekeeper from Samoa. Owners are very nice and always make time for guests. Cheeky turkey look-a-likes crow in front of your accommodation and put on a show for a cracker. Well run outfit at a very reasonable price!

Perfect spot in Picton!
We loved the friendly welcome at reception, the fun touches around the campsites and tips about the local pub/restaurant within walking distance. What a beautiful place!

Good economical choice near Picton.
We stayed in a small cabin, consisting of a double bed and a set of bunked beds. The beds were good quality. The facility also had a large kitchen area and a small pool, though we did not take advantage of them. Excellent location, just outside of Picton in a quiet area.

Excellent quiet couple of nights
Great cabin with good kitchen facilities, everything needed was there. Bedding and towels provided all good. Just a couple of kms from the ferry, lovely and quiet and well set out with green areas. Handy to walk down the road about 10 mins to the marina and Waikawa bay which is lovely with waterfront bar. Handy as well to walk in Victoria Domain and along to Queen Charlotte viewpoint. Really need a car to get here and enjoy. Picton itself is a really beautiful little place, great waterfront park, cafes, etc. Good for a stop off for a day or so before or after the beautiful ferry through the Sounds to Wellington.

Very nice facilities, in top-notch condition and very clean. We were disappointed only with the wifi, which was so slow in the evening as to be unusable.
