"If for some odd reason you find yourself in Pistoia, I can heartily recommend the Locanda San Marco. The staff is absolutely wonderful - they genuinely seem to care about their guests. And even if you don't have a need for two bedrooms, go ahead and splurge on the Baroni Suite. You'll be glad you did. I believe the Locanda is an old palazzo and is certainly built castle solid. Sadly the pool was not working the day we were there which was a disappointment but apart from that the service was excellent and the team were lovely and friendly."

"Amazing staff was so helpful - I wanted to go to the zoo just nearby but the road is a very heavy traffic and no footwalk so the two girls was so nice to drive me there and pick me up when I was done with the zoo ❤️❤️❤️ Regarding staying there it must be nice in the summer when the pool is open - because it is I the middle of nowhere and not a lot to do "
