Rustic and secluded
We rented this cabin for a SxS trip. We were able to ride our SxS from the cabin to Wilderness Rider Buffalo Ranch riding area. Just 3/4 mile of blacktop and about 4 miles of gravel/dirt road to get there. Cabin was very clean. Rustic and secluded. Owners were awesome and quick to answer any questions we had. Sat. TV and WiFi worked great. No cell service but Wifi calling/texting worked great on our phones. Enjoyed seeing the cows as we came in and out of the drive thru the pasture. And bonus of a welcoming aussie pup that hung out with us most the time we were there, he as super friendly, probably just wanted our food but we like to think he liked us too! We will be back, beautiful area and lots of sights to see near by.

Great weekend retreat
The cabin was so clean and everything we needed. It was us and two other couples. We come to kayak and relax. The location was great! We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit and attempted to cook on the charcoal grill but forgot lighter fluid. 😂 we made do and had a wonderful time. Hosts were very communicative!

Buffalo River Escape
The stay was wonderful. The overall experience was amazing thanks to our hosts, Eric and Ashlee. Great communication! The location was superb and easy to find. Great access to the river and hiking trails nearby. The cabin was very clean with all of the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the Ozark views that the Ponca Area has to offer. The highlight of the trip was the bachelor group of bull Elk that came 20 steps from the back porch. Spotty cell service, so be prepared. We loved being able to disconnect.

wonderful stay in a Cabin back in the Ozarks
The cabin was room and tidy. It was not difficult to get too, but was nice and secluded back in the woods/trees. Very quite, very relaxing.

Rustic Cabin Nestled in the Woods
If you’re looking for quiet seclusion, this is it! Elk horn Cabin is very uniquely designed using repurposed wood and old tin from an 1800’s cabin, giving the look of antiquity, but sturdy and clean! The beds are comfy. The kitchen has a full-sized refrigerator. The bathroom only has a large shower…No tub for you soakers out there. There are large covered porches front and back with sturdy seating, as well as tables and chairs for dining outside. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the porch in the glider rockers which has a table in between for coffee mugs. The Wi-Fi works great! DISH network on the TV. DVD player. The gravel drive back to the cabin is a little steep, so it would probably be best if you had four-wheel-drive or an all-wheel-drive SUV.

Great weekend
What a great cabin! Inside things were clean and set up well. Everything worked perfectly. A lot of thought went into making it a great place to stay. It is 10 minutes from the Buffalo River, there were no other cabins/houses close but very easy to get to. We saw 4 bull elk two minutes from the cabin !!! Eric was great to work with. He quickly answered all our questions. He reached out on day of our arrival to give detailed directions in addition to the pin he had given us earlier. And he allowed us to keep our stuff at the cabin past check out time so we could float longer. I can't wait to go back!

This beautiful cabin is secluded in the woods for the perfect outdoor adventure. Plenty of room for 3 adults. Great location for riding ATV to Wilderness Buffalo Ranch for outdoor recreation. Drive to Boxley Valley to see elk. We will definitely be back.
