The hotel was good - no issues. Offered a good breakfast of bacon, sausages, eggs, variety of breads and fruits and meats and cheeses. Close to the central city and buses.

Comfortable Hotel with Access to Downtown
This hotel is right down town. It was easy to walk around and also take day trips. The rings were very clean. We arrived early from our flight and they allowed us to check in early too! Overall, it was a great experience with great service.

My cruisinbob thoughts; Hotel was a pleasant surprise. small but nice room(just like the picture), bathroom was modern but no amenities(shampoo etc) are provided, housekeeping was excellent, my biggest disappointment was the breakfast which I did not like, bread rolls were tasteless, same for scrambled eggs and coffee was terrible( just my taste). Hotel location is a HUGE plus and staff on front desk very helpful. Overall I would return. cruisinbob.

Just an OK stay
Enjoyable stay - hotel in good central location with free car parking (when it’s not full!). Staff nice and helpful. But .... breakfast not great, the same every day, not much for vegetarians or vegans at all. Hotel expensive for what you get - we stayed 7 nights as birthday present for my husband and we probably got the worst room - poor views and very small in comparison to other rooms we saw which was disappointing considering it cost me for room alone in excess of £550!!!

The staff was wonderful at this location. Our only complaint was the room was so hot! We tried to turn down the temperature, but the thermostat wouldn't let us go below 19ºC which made the room extremely stuffy at night. They are doing renovations at the time as well, so during the day it was quite noisy.

We always stay at Confort Inn and we were pleasantly surprised by the upgrades in the room. We plan to stay at this hotel whenever we visit São Miguel, feels like home.

Nice Inn close to everything.
Comfort Inn in Ponta Delgada is within walking distance to many different types of eateries, local markets, museums, tourist attractions in the old town. 10-15 minutes walk to "Parque Atlantico" - a modern shopping mall.

We requested double bed and because we were to single ovet 60s and not together so they gave us 2 single beds and the befs were hard and no room to.move ..i am a big man. Thank you expedia.

The hotel parking facilities are very limited, and the hotel is in a narrow street.The island has some superb scenery, but you really need a car to get around.The Reserva Bar and Mimo italian restaurants are excellent.

It was comfortable and clean, staff was very helpful in my questions about restaurants, museums and what to do and see. I was thankful to them, when I asked the clerk where was Geres, where I booked the hotel. To my surprise, it was 1550 km from Sao Miguel. I asked them to cancel the booking for me. This was my mistake as I did not realize Geres was in mainland Portugal. The staff helped me to solve the problem.

Breakfast is just passing the minimal. Fruits are bad and still being served......no variety in choices of food especially staying 5 nights. Internet is poor connection often not working in the room.

It's a decent hotel, i'm neutral about it.
I came to the Azores for a summer festival and needed somewhere to stay for a few nights before it started. It was a decent hotel and I honestly have nothing to say about it badly. But on the other side of that, there was nothing memorable about it either. If you aren't looking for anything too fancy this hotel would be fine for you.

Great Location
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and very please with the location as the Hotel was a short walk from the Town Centre, the marina and all shops, bars and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable- good value for money! The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We rented a car and this allowed us to see the island and visiting a lot of places without having to pay for the Tours. It would have been nice to have had more variety at breakfast but overall we were very pleased with Comfort Inn!

Hotel states it has parking but it only has 7 spots, each for the size of a smart car. This is well below the number of rooms the hotel has. The entrance and exit of the parking is not big enough for regular vehicles only smat car size vehicles. The rooms do not have irons and ironing boards. When I asked for one they didn't have anymore, had to go purchase one. The breakfast was the only thing that was stated that was good.

I was happy to receive early check-in after an overnight flight into Ponta Delgada. Everything was good except a few minor details: 1. Would be nice to have more variety with breakfast 2. A bathroom door that closes I would go back in spite of that.

Location is amazing!
Just stayed one night. It does not say anything about breakfast but it is free for all guests. I would stay again in the centre of Ponta Delgada.

The beds were awful! So much so, that it would probably deter me from staying there again! They were so hard that we woke up sore every morning. Its too bad, because otherwise, the location was super, the hotel was very clean, the staff was nice and the breakfast was very good.
