“Very convenient location; adjacent to lots of good food establishments”
Clean room. Very friendly front-desk personnel. Good breakfast selection.
“Nice stopover on a long trip”
Nice rooms. Curteous staff. Near good restaurants. Very convenient to Interstate.
“Would stay again”
Did not know what to expect because the cost per night was well under other hotels. But could not ask for more. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and nice looking. Enjoyed my stay. Thank you.
“Worth the money”
For the cost, the hotel does well. Room fully satisfactory. Room clean. Housekeeping satisfactory. Reasonable pool. Very good breakfast. Bed comfortable. Is it the RItz - no. Does it cost as much as the Ritz - no. Excellent value. For what the hotel is, it rates a 5. For all hotels everywhere, something lower is appropriate. One issue, probably not the fault of the hotel. My computer kept telling me there were virus attacks when on the unencrypted wireless. There could have been an unfriendly in the local area.
“A Nice Surprise”
A very nice surprise - some Days Inn properties can be good, and others.....We used this as a mid-way stopping point between Pittsburgh and Greenville, SC, particularly because they allow pets. The entrance is attractive, staff very nice, room up to date and clean, good complimentary breakfast and there is a BIG selection of eateries in the immediate area. This will be our stopping spot from now on.
“Covered the basics”
Friendly, helpful staff. Hotel could use some basic upgrades, but for the price it was ok. Nothing fancy, but clean. Hotel indoor pool was clean, but there was a light floating and still connected that needed to be repaired. Continental breakfast included with stay was good (especially the waffles). Motel is directly behind the busy interstate, so you might want to request a room on the street side.
“Our usual place, with no regrets and plan to repea”
Stayed two different nights, a Friday and Sunday, en route to-from a visit to some friends. Friday was a bit tough getting baggage up to 2d floor with no elevator and limited carrying ability. But on Sunday the desk on duty had set us up with a first-floor room and everything was fine. We don't travel a lot but often stay at Day's Inn when we do. Maybe not "five star" but always friendly, spiffy-clean, comfy and affordable on retirees' budget. We do wish you could get a slightly better waffle mix for breakfast--and bring back the orange juice, please!
“Just ok”
It was nothing fancy but clean...needs renovation. You have ti go outside to get to pool and anything else.
“Ok stay”
Ok stay...hotel about par with others. Nothing outstanding, but nice place.
“Decent - Loud heating units”
For the price, you can't expect a five star. You get what you pay for, but I would say that bang for the buck is about average here. The real issue here was that the heater/ax unit was way too loud. Kept me up at night since it was right by the bed. Apart from that the area is awesome for pass through travelers - gas stations, restaurants, Walmart, all right next to the hotel, which is just off the highway.
