Great experience!
This was our second family vacation at this cabin. It is beautiful and the area is stunning - especially in the splendor of fall colors! There was plenty of space for everyone to do what they wanted and the central gathering area held all of us without feeling cramped. The sound of the river was so relaxing and could be heard throughout the cabin. I highly recommend this VRBO!

Family reunion
The atmosphere was amazing. It was located by the stream and it seemed as if you were isolated even though there were other properties nearby. It was very roomy. Teenagers were playing pool in the man cave and others were playing cards in the great room. Neither group was affected by the others. We enjoyed playing horse shoes and corn hole in the commons area. It was a relaxing, memory making, reacquainting weekend.

The house is in a nice quiet location in sundance. The property has all the listed amenities. Its just minutes from sundance. You still have to drive to sundance but its close. Pamela was responsive and kind.

Weekend Getaway
We had sooo much fun relaxing, playing in the snow at Sundance, playing pool, playing pinball and just enjoying the beautiful fireplace. I enjoyed my weekend with my family. The host was very gracious and kind and helpful. The house was clean and the items we needed were easily found. It truly was a great weekend to recharge and just enjoy the surroundings. Absolutely beautiful. ♡

Amazing Cabin!!
We loved our stay at the cabin. Everything was clean, it included everything we needed for our stay and the host was quick to communicate with us any time we had a question. The location is perfect (very close to Sundance) so we did some skiing while staying there. The hot tub was spectacular next to the creek, the fireplace was cozy, and the man cave had us competing for the best scores with the Monopoly pinball machine! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again! Highly recommended!

Wonderful destination
We could not have enjoyed this place more. The outdoor area is unreal and relaxing. The communal activities were a lot of fun. The best part - this place is fully stocked!! Soaps, shampoos, washes, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc. I’ve stayed in so many VRBOs that don’t stock a single thing. It was so comfortable and enjoyable. Can’t wait to come again.

Plenty of places to hang out, The kids loved the hot tub, the adults and kids liked the man cave, playing pool. It was a fun place to stay, We would rebook this house. And the Host was really super, easy to comminate with. Being close to Sundance, and hiking to Stewart fall was really great.

Peaceful and stress free
This property was beautiful and peaceful. We (6) people were there for a work retreat and had agendas planned out. With so much to keep up with for the actual work retreat it was so nice to have an effortless check in and out. Pamela's communication from the time we picked the location to even days after we left was wonderful. She made sure that even though the skiing was shut down she was there to answer any questions about the surrounding areas and ideas of things our group may like to do together. The Cabin was able to accommodate each individual so that we had our own rooms and also the cabin was large enough everyone could have their own work area separate from each other. the amount of spaces and how the house is set up made it feel like you were there alone. with so many different balconies, the fire pit area, pool room/game room, tv areas and the gazbo that overlooks the river was great. Even with such a big group we never once felt we were closed in. The cabin had pretty much everything you needed excluding food and drinks. All in all everyone ranked it as one of the best places we have stayed over the years.

Great place for a family gathering
We celebrated my daughter's 30th birthday with all the family. The cabin was such a beautiful well maintained cabin and a hit for the whole family! Pinball was a huge hit and made for such a fun family competition. My son hit the highest score! We really enjoyed the ambiance of the hot tub with the cool and crisp mountain air. The beds were all so comfortable and the host was very accommodating. Definitely highly recommend staying here and would love to get the family back here again.

Luxury.. with a remote rustic feel.
Spacious , convenient , comfortable and quiet. Everyone loved this lovely cabin. Each room had separate privacy and lots of space. This was a wonderful location for our family gathering. The host was extraordinary in insuring everything was perfect!

Magical Mountain Retreat

So Much Fun

Beautiful cabin with stream right next to it. Enjoyed hearing the stream from inside the house. Wonderful deck on the cabin. It was an opportunity to spend time in nature as well as the comforts of the cabin. We were able to play multiple card games with the family and spend quality time with our loved ones. Pamela did a great job of making sure we felt comfortable but not being overbearing. The property Was incredible and we will rent it again.

Terrific family gathering to celebrate a “familymoon”. New terminology for me. It’s after a family member gets married and then departs on their honeymoon the family gathers together and has “familymoon”. A really fun family. Annual Gathering
The weekend before Thanksgiving we stay the weekend together at a VRBO at Sundance, Utah to accommodate all of us. We enjoy having our sons and their famlies for three days rather than 3 hours on Thanksgiving Day. "Your son is your son until he gets a wife" LOL. When they marry I have them before the holiday then they go with the wife's family on the holiday. This Cabin by the stream is a treasure! So comfortable, beautiful inside and outside. One of our sons had gotten high score on the pinball machine an was able to put his initials on the record! 16,976,70 BAM! A good idea would be to replace the bumpers on the pool table but we still enjoyed the mancave. Sat an did some puzzel's and games. The hot tub was a hit as well. Loved the sound of the stream while outside. Beautiful, Beautiful place! Thank you.

Tammy has her family gathering of grown children early so the Thanksgiving Day shuffle between extended families is not so stressful. We’ve all experienced that! Tammy did laundry, cleaned kitchen and provided notes about a maintenance notice (door knob has been replaced). Pinball machine was a hit - Tammy made it to high scorer list - she gave the kids a run for their money. Happily welcome them to your properties, but of course, I want them to come back again and again to the Log Cabin. Pamela

Great Location
You can't beat the location by the stream, and the cabin was perfect for my early Thanksgiving with all of my kids in town. The hot tub and pinball game were favorites of all. We brought an alexa along to stream music and the wifi was great. We made some amazing family memories here.

Thanksgiving Retreat
It is a beautiful cabin and the owners were very hospitable. Would highly recommend. Only (minor) issue was a cantankerous neighbor across the street that complained to us about our dogs and parking.

Amazing Place!
This place is truly amazing! Even though you are in a small neighborhood, you truly feel like you're in your own private forest retreat. The creek flowing through the backyard is delightful and makes this place extra special. We had 11 people staying in the cabin ranging from 2-72 and it worked for eveyone. Pam, the owner, was super responsive to every request/question even well before we arrived. The house is very well equipped from towels to kitchen supplies - we didn't want for anything. Highly recommend a stay here! We will be back for sure!

Great Weekend
I had such a great time staying here, and my party that was with me thought the same. Pamela and her partner were amazing at communicating with us and were great to talk to when they stopped by to drop off a load of wood. The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful, we could not get enough of it. The beds were super comfy and there were enough cozy blankets everywhere you turned. It was a great weekend and I would love to stay here again!

Paradise in Sundance
We came to the cabin to celebrate a retirement after 40 years and a family member completing fire academy. Our party ranged in age from 4years old to 64 and each of us loved every minute. We can’t wait to come back in the winter and enjoy the fireplace and hot tub. If you are on the fence DO IT! I promise you won’t regret it.

Not quite what we were looking for
First of all, the owner Pamela is excellent with communication. The cabin is nice enough (mattresses, furniture, and appliances could use updating). The photos don't quite match the current layout of the house. The carpet in the master bedroom was damp from housekeeping running late. There was dust on light fixtures and blinds but the house was mostly clean. Due to a fire ordinance, all the fireplaces were off limits which was unfortunate but the circumstances were understood. The main problem was that our visit felt like an afterthought to a wedding party that was scheduled to visit the day of our departure- a groundskeeper was out and about the entire day prepping the adjacent cabins and ruined any sense of privacy we wanted to have. He also used an adjacent cabin's hot tub for almost an hour which was very off-putting, prolonging his presence. It made us wonder who last used the hot tub at our cabin. If you are looking for privacy, this cabin is not it. Overall, it was a disappointment. That being said, it is a nice cabin for large parties who don't care for a quiet, private retreat. It probably would have been better if the owner had blocked out our dates in order to prep the cabin for the wedding party instead of having us stay there.

Pamela was easy to communicate with. The owners have thought of everything renters may need. The cabin was well stocked, kitchen had everything we needed. Was well cleaned when we arrived. Perfect, quiet location. We had a new born, 1-yr old, 3 yr-old, 5 yr-old, 6 yr-old, 11 yr-old, 14 yr-old, and 17-yr old, and all stayed entertained the entire stay. Kids especially loved the pinball machine. Was close to some great hikes, and floating the Provo River. Planning to stay here again next year.

Perfect for family gathering!
The very comfortable and beautiful house was perfect for a week with our large family. We even held a small wedding on the deck and it couldn't have been more beautiful! Set in a treed glen next to a rushing creek it is an oasis out of the summer heat. The owners are very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend.

The house was amazing and full of character! It has something for everyone. From outdoor games, a pool table and a nostalgic pinball machine, to just relaxing by the creek on any one of the decks, this house had just what we needed and more. The owners, both Pamela & Lynne went above and beyond. They were readily available if we needed them or had any questions. This goal was obviously for us to have a good time. I cannot wait to stay here again next fall!

Best Vacation Rental Experience from the Best Hosts
Where do I even begin to share the incredible experience we had at this magical place? Everything about our stay exceeded my expectations. The cabin itself was gorgeous, and the photos hardly capture how extraordinary it is. The hosts were incredibly kind, generous, and thoughtful. When we arrived, there was music playing and we felt right at home. The couch was the coziest, and sitting there by the fire and taking in the view of the stream and snow-covered canyon was simply breathtaking. The bedding was extremely warm and cozy, and the rooms were all very good sizes. The game room was so much fun to hang out in, and it provided the perfect place to extend our fun after the young kids went to sleep. Our kids and our adults loved the pinball machine! No detail was left unnoticed, and they even had soft robes and specific towels hanging just outside the door that leads to the hot tub. The hot tub was already heated to perfection when we arrived, and it was so nice enjoying the sounds and sights of the stream from the warmth of the hot tub. The kitchen was perfectly appointed for cooking for a large family gathering, and we were able to find everything we needed. Just outside the entrance, there was a really fun little hill that our kids enjoyed sledding on, and it was so nice to have this right outside the door. My family rents vacation homes every year, and we all agreed that we have never had such a pleasant experience as we did at this beautiful cabin. If you have a chance to stay here, take it! One little side note to mention: The hosts weren’t kidding about needing a 4-wheel drive vehicle or chains to get in/out of the road that leads to the cabin. Don’t risk it.
