“The home was lovely and clean and the amenities were great but the sleeping accommodations were not ideal - we felt like an afterthought. We didn’t get our entry code until we had been standing outside the house with our luggage for several minutes, though it was over an hour after the specified check in time and our trying to contact her (which made us nervous that we had been dropped off at the wrong house). “This is a quaint property located off the main road going through town but you would never know it. It is quiet and tranquil. Property is clean and well maintained. The owner has provided many amenities, my husband appreciated the well stocked coffee"nook." We walked everywhere and it was fun to explore the waterfront. A quick drive to Sagamore Hill and Oyster Bay. We enjoyed our stay. Owner was very responsive to my questions.”

There were nice touches throughout to make you feel at home, and she also greeted us with a welcome basket of treats. “We booked our stay here two days before checking in. On the day of we had not heard from the host. After multiple attempts to contact them, via app and phone call, it wasn’t until 45 minutes after we were supposed to check in that our reservation was cancelled due to having been double booked on another platform. Very disappointing as it left us scrambling to find somewhere else to stay. The area was nice and walkable, but a disappointing turn of events.”
