We loved staying in the townhouse. It has a very local style and maintained well. The hosts were very attentive and helpful. The free parking was a great bonus!

Charming Sicilian hospitality
Wonderful, accommodating and attentive hosts who help define the expectations of Sicilian hospitality. Epic location - with parking - at the very top of the steps of the amazing city. Get ready to climb! We stayed in a lower level room in the tower- note that it wasn’t clear which room we were supposed to get based on the hotels.com booking, I thought the “tower” meant the room with the view. We had a Bauhaus styled room- it was spacious, but since we don’t love that style of art, it was a bit over the top. The bauhaus room also doesn’t have a table that works well as a desk- only a sight issue if you’re a remote worker like us. WiFi worked reasonably well for Sicily. Breakfast was a more you can eat smorgasbord of various pastries, bread, and yogurt - a different and delicious selection each morning.

Pleasant B&B
Good location in Ragusa superior with close access to Ragusa ibla. Very nice person running the B&B and a nice home made breakfast. There are steps outside to get to the rooms so could be a problem for some, especially with luggage, although they will help you with that and help find street parking.

A small boutique hotel in the old city of Ragusa
Because of the restrictions against changing the heritage buildings in old Ragusa the owners, Daniella and Giovanni were severely hampered in converting the old houses to their needs. They have done a good job and the location is excellent for access to restaurants and Ragusa Ibla but the hotel is cramped. We had the room at the top which afforded us the best views of the old city but at a price. We had to climb to the fourth floor up tortuous stairs and thankfully Giovanni carried our luggage both up and down. This climb would be arduous for all but the very fit. Should you wish to stay then request a lower room. Because the hotel is on a narrow street without auto access we had to park our car about 200 meters away. Again Giovanni met us there and took our luggage to and from the car park. Although this review is less tha glowing if you are young, fit and adventurous you will have a fine time here in Ragusa.

Funky and charming
We stayed one night and were given a lovely and charming room--decorated in a bohemian style, on the highest level of the building with a lovely little balcony overlooking some of the city. We were on a bike trip, and the manager stored our bikes in her office over night. She was very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.

Comfort, cool, great view and service!
We had an excellent stay at Giumbabulla. The room had a beautiful view, was extremely comfortable, awesome air conditioning, had a great shower, comfort all around. The lovely owners picked us up from the train station. We also had a Ryan Air flight and were able to arrange easy travel to Comiso airport. Such a pleasure.

great place
We were picked up at the train station on our arrival and delivered to the bus station on our departure. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. The breakfast -- delivered to our room --was the best we had in Sicily. The room had a panoramic view of Ragusa and was very comfortable. It was the only place we stayed where a kettle was provided so we could make tea. All in all, a great experience and great value for the price.

A Gem of a B and B in a terrific location
As long a walking up the staircase to your room is possible, this place is great. The B and B is in a historic building beautifully refurbished. The location is just at the top of the 250 stairs which drop into the historic Ragusa Ibla. After a nice dinner in Ibla we opted for walking off dinner by walking up. Daniela is very helpful and was available by email for restaurant suggestions. The penthouse suite we chose was beautifully redone with a living room, bedroom, and bath all nicely furnished. We felt like we were local residents. The building is on a walkway so you must part at a piazza about 200 steps away. But you do not want to drive around there. We left the car parked and walked the area, both Ragusa Ibla below and Ragusa Superiore above. Lovely town and this B and B shows the loving care put into it. The upstairs unit has a terrace on which we were served our sumptuous breakfast. More food than reasonable, homemade pizza, yogurt, fruit and a basket of pastries. Eaten while sitting above the rooftops looking down on the City.

Pour visiter Raguse à pied.
Petit appartement dans une vieille maison. Très tranquille (rue étroite et piétonne fermée par des escaliers à chaque bout. Stationnement gratuit, mais, comme toujours en Sicile, sur des emplacements interdits. Accueil de grande qualité. Petit déjeuner extraordinaire.

Niente di eccezionale. Sufficiente
Dalle informazioni fornite in fase di prenotazione si lasciava intuire che tutte le camere fossero dotate di vasca/doccia idromassaggio, servizi relax...invece siamo stati sistemati in una piccola casetta indipendente, comunque molto carina, con cucinino, salottino/pranzo e camera da letto e wc nel sottotetto. Nessun servizio relax o vasca/idromassaggio. Ottima l'accoglienza, però il parcheggio pubblico non era proprio in adiacenza alla struttura, ma bisognava fare qualche centinaio di metri di strada a piedi ed un po di scalette. Sufficiente la colazione.

) il Giumbabulla è una Luxury house composta da suite, suite king suite superior e junior suite alcune in uno palazzo antico altre, per dare più riservatezza ai nostri ospiti in piccole dimore antiche ristrutturate. 2) ogni singola abitazione è unica e diversa e con delle caratteristiche ben precise se lei sceglie una suite dove è specificato che c'è la doccia non potrà mai trovare la vasca idromassaggio poichè si trovano solo ed esclusivamente nelle suite superior 3) ci fa piacere che abbia gradito l'accoglienza e che abbia trovato carina la nostra suite , il fatto che sia indipendente per noi è solo un pregio perchè permette di avere molta un più intimità e di non essere disturbati da altri ospiti 5) in ultimo ci dispiace che abbia trovato la nostra colazione, peraltro servita in camera senza nessun sovraprezzo, sufficiente, riteniamo che latte fresco di latteria, caffe, succhi di frutta biologici, yogurt , Frutta fresca, pasticceria fresca tipica della nostra zona ( code d'aragosta alla ricotta, croissant farciti con pistacchio, trecce con marmellata ecc ecc) e per il giorno in cui siete stati nostri ospiti , la pizza fatta in casa con provola ragusana ciliegino e prosciutto( il salato cambia giornalmente), sia una colazione più che discreta, come d'altra parte tanti nostri ospiti hanno apprezzato e scritto. La prossima volta magari, se ci verrà nuovamente a trovare, ci chiami direttamente così da indicarle e descriverle singolarmente ogni suite junior suite o suite superior, visto che le " informazioni pubblicizzate" non sono state intuite correttamente.Grazie per la recensione

Personal y estancia maravillosa con los dueños dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento. Desayunos extraordinariamente bien y diferentes cada dia y puesto en la habitación. La habitación puesta con mucho gusto y gran cantidad de detalles. Televisión grande y aparato para reproducir tanto vidio como audio.

Sehr freundlich wurden wir von den Besitzern am Auto abgeholt, man zeigte uns einen perfekten Parkplatz und trug unser Gepäck zum Hotel. Wirklich sehr freundlicher Empfang! Wir nächtigten in der Mondrian Suite - sehr chique, Designermöbel und besonders nettes Bad. Ein herrlicher "Cappuccino-Balkon" sowie Früchte waren auch vorhanden. Wifi war sehr schnell, das Bett sehr bequem (etwas höher als üblich). Vorsicht, City-Tax of 1 Euro/Person

Gentilezza e stile nel centro di Ragusa alta.
Camera super spaziosa e bellissima in stile arabo. Comfort di ogni genere, frutta e tisane a disposizione. La colazione (cornetti, latte, caffè, granita alle mandorle e focaccine) viene servita in camera. 299 scalini separano la zona superiore di Ragusa (in cui c'è l'hotel) da Ragusa Ibla, dove sono concentrati localini, monumenti e ristoranti. Le stanze sono in una dependance, il parcheggio invece in una piazza vicina, dove il personale della struttura, gentilissimo, ci ha accolto e accompagnato fino alla nostra camera.

une nuit passée à Raguse dans cet hôtel très bien tenu. Décorée avec goût, notre chambre disposait d'un salon et d'une terrasse. Le petit déjeuné nous a été servi dans la chambre.

Superbe sejour
Superbe sejour!! Daniela et Giovanni sont des hotes extraordinaires et tres attentionnes. La chambre est tres propre, internet fonctionne bien et l'accueil est exceptionnel. Quartier superbe ou tout est a distance de marche. Dejeuner copieux et delicieux.

B&B extra dans le début du centre historique.
un peu difficile à trouver car dans une rue piétonnière. Par contre les hôtes sont très sympathiques et font tout pour notre confort. Le petit déjeuner était extra la chambre très bien . Nous avons très apprécié .

Il personale del residence si è mostrato molto gentile e premuroso nel metterti a tuo agio sin dal primo momento del mio arrivo. Nel corso del soggiorno è accaduto un evento alquanto imprevedibile a cui la proprietaria sig. Daniela ha rimediato in pochi minuti. Eccellente la colazione. Consigliato di certo !!

Muy buen hotel.
ES un hotel familiar, con un trato muy amable. Pocas habitaciones decoradas de diferente manera. Te esperan a la llegada y te llevan el desayuno ( muy bueno) a la habitación. El hotel está muy situado, a un paso de las zonas históricas.

Themenzimmer. Die Besitzer haben die Ausstattung der Zimmer durchdacht und schön umgesetzt. Allerdings die "Sitzecke" war nach 5 Minuten nicht mehr bequem... Das Frühstück war aufs Zimmer serviert und schmackhaft.
