I’ve stayed here over the years many times and this years things seemed poorly maintained. The bathroom smelled dirty and there were spiders in the corner by the fan. The shower had terrible water pressure. It just seemed not as nice. I will say that the property feels safe and I’ve never had any security concerns here.

This was a welcomed stay after many hours of travel. The property is beautiful and I really enjoyed the hot tub and the pool. Everyone was friendly, and the rooms were clean and quiet. They have Koi fish in their lagoon, fire pits with areas to sit, and a restaurant right on the property. I loved it here and will definitely be back.

I have attended business conferences there and thought that it would be a nice place to stay. So I had the opportunity to take my grandsons there for a weekend. The room we stayed in looked like a rock band partied in it and had stripped it bare, and the hotel didn’t have time or possibly money to repair the room. The king size bed was broken (or I suspect it actually was two twin mattresses slapped on a king box spring with a mattress pad thrown on top. I mentioned it to the clerk and she stated she would have maintenance come look at it and of course no one showed up for the entire weekend… made me sad, I would have loved to have a place to stay so close to the kids.

Clean rooms, affordable price, dining on site was great! Their pool and spa was out of order when we went which was a bummer. But overall it was a good experience, we will be back!

The pool and hot tub didn’t work. I had no idea till I checked in. Didn’t tell me that housekeeping doesn’t clean your room unless you request. Housekeeping doesn’t come in early in the morning so I couldn’t get towels or coffee. The body wash was actually lotion and The conditioner was just watered down shampoo.

Unheated pool and broken jacuzzi. No room service during my stay. When I stepped in the shower, the tub was slippery and I slipped and fell backwards hitting the edge of the tub and toilet as I fell to the floor. The tub should have been treated with a non-skid coating. I am experiencing severe pain now.

Crapy
This is not some "spa" hotel. Don't be fooled by the photos. I had to move rooms 3 times due to pet pee smell & mold in 2 of the bathrooms. The property is dated. Stains on carpet and furniture. Scuffed & dirty walls. Average bedding. It gets to job done, but it's nothing pretty.

A nice weekend getaway
The room was clean and comfortable.The whole place is quiet, safe and clean.I liked the hardwood flooring. All ofthe staff were helpful. The spa was great ,we really enjoyed our massages. Biggest disappointment was the hot tub was a luke warm temperature so we didn't use it, we were really looking forward to a hot tub in the cold weather. The room was lacking a few little things like a hook to hang the hand towel. Also our room didn't come with a don't disturb sign witch we didn't think of till the morning when housekeeping was pounding at our door.

Wild turkeys walk through the property in the early morning. It is such a beautiful location right on the Sacramento River. It is a rare treat to see wildlife so close.

I have tried many motels in Redding and they were not great. I love this place because it's clean, the staff is great and the restaurant on the property is wonderful. Plus we can bring our pug, Ruby!

Overnight stay while traveling
Hotel was about what I’d expect for the price. Floors were hard surface, maybe because we had a small dog with us. Check in was pleasant and didn’t try the restaurant on site.

The bed was broken in our first room, so we were moved to another room upstairs. the phone in that room did not work, there was no recycling bin (eco-friendly), the lighting in the bathroom was poor, the TV resolution was fuzzy, we asked for extra towels prior to leaving and just gave up and left without taking a shower, not enough electrical outlets in the room, the restaurant didn't have any to-go bags so we were told, "there are 2 of you, you can carry it", we got a drink at the bar and it was very watered down...the hotel needs an update very badly. the people who work there are very nice though.

We stayed here maybe 6 years ago and everything was fine. Yesterday we stayed here again and while the reception was fine, the room was not. The room 102 was not well maintained. The entry light inside the room was not working, making it some what difficult to proceed into the dark room. the bathroom sink had a 10 inch hairline crack in it, there was black mold located below the Fawcett controls in the tub/shower. Finally, we did not receive the 3:45 am wake up call that we had requested from the front desk when we checked in. Fortunately we did make the 5:00 am flight check-in at the local airport. Perhaps it was just a bad room, but, the experience did not measure to our earlier stay, nor the $169.00 that we paid for the room.
