The Leo Grand has a lot of appeal. The design is great, the location is perfect. Wonderful high quality beds and linens and lovely Penhaligons toiletries. Breakfast was included booking via Expedia and that was a big plus as otherwise it’s quite expensive. The covered and heated courtyard which also serves as the dining room plays music til late ish as the restaurant is busy and fun - but I wouldn’t book a room overlooking the courtyard for fear it would be noisy. Our room faced the street outward and was blissfully peaceful.

Excellent location, clean, close proximity to everything. Only down fall, the AC was not working properly and got a bit hot at night. It was raining and it was nice they offered umbrellas for guest. I didn’t know how important this was until I got to Florence and the hotel had no umbrellas for guests and had to buy one.
