Found a mouse running around the room at 2AM. It’s safe to say we stayed up the whole night with no sleep. The area around the hotel is full of cracked out druggies

The room was clean and quiet, check-in was easy and it was exactly what was needed for a short trip. Lots of places to grab a bite to eat around the hotel, very walkable location, and it was easy to get to the metro/busses to go farther

Went to a show at MTELUS, which is right next door, so this was a super convenient location for me. Clean and comfy room. Friendly and attentive hosts. Really happy with my visit.

TV randomly turned on twice in the middle of the night. The neighbourhood's enthusiastic crack-heads were very audible in the room. Lobby looked like it was still under construction. However the bed was surprisingly comfortable.

Room was too small to feel comfortable for two people. Mattress was not in a good condition that my body kept sinking towards the centre of the bed. I rather pay more to stay in a reasonably-sized room with proper mattress. I do not recommend this place.

Its very close to everything. Its clean and a great place to sleep. The only thing is we did not have towels in the room when we arrived, we had to request some and pick them up in the lobby.

Area was very sketchy, junkies and hobos outside, lots of garbage on the street. Lots of noise (walls are paper thin) and there was noise in the hallway all night. Room was mostly clean (shower curtain was nasty). At least the staff was friendly and responsive!

I liked the affordability of the hotel and how conveniently close it was to the M Telus venue. I did not like how cold it was in the building and our room, or how there were no towels in the room or any available when we requested them, or how almost every window in the room was either broken or taped up, or when the fire alarm was activated at 7am and actual fire trucks came and cleared the building. But other than that it was a good one night stay.

This is more of Airbnb, not really a hotel , no housekeeping came to make the room, shower water pressure very low, no phone in room, no room keys - all done by punch code received from owner by email, room smaller than shown in photo. Front desk staff was friendly and room was clean and nice neighbourhood. If you like Airbnb style it’s good but not really a hotel in traditional sense.

For a super cheap price, this is a nice place if you are looking for just a bed and shower. While our room was clean, there were parts of it that were quite literally falling apart. It’s an okay spot but be prepared for rowdy crowds down below on the street, especially if there’s a concert happening at night.

Nothing like the pictures. The bathroom is shared with all other rooms on the floor, and the walls must be paper thin because my wife and I could hear the entire floor talking. We also found a few condoms in the toilet.. The bed is not very comfortable, and the room is extremely small. The staff was very nice, and that might be the only positive I can think of, but that's normally the case for all hotels. Next time I will spend the extra hundred dollars for a nicer room with a private bathroom.

This is a very good place for the money. It’s fairly clean - the sheets were crisp and there were lots of fresh towels and soap. The area is very urban and you need to be cool with folks asking for money but it’s pretty safe. It’s close to the comedy festival and art galleries as well as Place Ed’s Arts and St.Laurent. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was far below my desired standards and needs. Upon arriving, the entry was blocked by a line of people going into a nightclub next door and people sitting on the sidewalk asking for money and drugs. After checking in with the attendant, I went to my room to discover there was no fridge, which I needed. The bathroom was not clean and the television did not work. The loud music from the nightclub was very distracting. I decided to leave and not stay the night. I informed the attendant that I was leaving and going to another hotel. Since leaving, I sent a message inquiring about a refund for any of my fees and have as of yet gotten no response.

I’ve a couple days to go over my stay there. Pros- Close to the Bell Centre, has an elevator. Cons- The room had no towels. In order to get any service from the from staff you had to communicate with them on the platform that you made your reservation from. That was very inconvenient and at times when I went downstairs to request something, they made me feel like I was bothering them. The room I was was facing the street and it was super loud ,needless to say I did not sleep that night. The bed was uncomfortable. I’m not sure if I would stay there again. I was there to attend a concert and I knew I wasn’t going to be in the room for an extended of time. However, the noise and the uncomfortable did not help with my drive home the next morning.

Clean, but small. The toilet was broken. We had to reach in the back of the toilet tank to manually flush. This was fixed when someone entered our room without telling us. This is a deal breaker. There were no towels. The hallways and room smelled like wet, damp, mold. This is the 4th time I’ve been made to “correct” my review.

The property was more than adequate for what I needed - a cheap night's stay in Montreal. The rooms are small, but clean. It's close to the metro, so that's good. Since it's in the Theatre district, it has some nice restaurants nearby, but also a lot of homeless people in the area.

I stayed there from October 13th-15th and have zero complaints. Check-in was extremely easy and the hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating. I booked the deluxe room, and it was extremely spacious and clean and had everything that I needed. I went down to the lobby for a spare cup at one point, and the employee provided me with several options as well as bowls, utensils and other items I might need. The hotel is located on Saint Catherine Street which is smack dab in downtown, so yes, it was loud, but that’s to be expected when deciding to book a hotel in downtown Montréal. Don’t expect it to be dead silent at night, that’s just not realistic and not the fault of the hotel. I just turned on the fan/AC or played some white noise on my phone and had no problems sleeping. When it was time to check out, my ride home was cancelled at the last minute and the employee in the lobby said that I could stay in the lobby for as long as needed and even offered me tea while I wait. Overall experience was amazing and far exceeded my expectations. I will be most definitely choosing this hotel again for my next trip to Montréal in a couple weeks!
