It was pleasant once we got in but we were locked out of the b&b for 30 mins. We were just standing outside with our luggage and no response from the Owner. Again was nice once we got in but if you are just getting into a new country and have no means to get into your place that you are staying the night it is concerning.

This was a wonderful place to stay! It is in a great location and very secure. We felt safe and were only steps from many of the main attractions. Daniele was fantastic with helping us get around and anything else we needed. The room was very comfortable and roomy. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Rome.

Location is excellent in the center of Rome’s historic district. Only a few minute walk to the Piazza Navona where we hung out in the evenings most nights there. Almost all of the top historical sites within a 20 minute walk. Daniele accommodated our early Check-in with no problems. Site has no front desk, but was very secure. Would definitely stay again.

The host, Daniela, was so friendly and accommodating. He stayed for our late arrival and personally pulled out the extra twin bed for us, explained everything and was just so very nice and helpful. Loved the location; couldn’t have been better for our plans! We visited Buddy’s next door several times (wonderful, and we appreciated the vouchers!). Only request would be a fan in the bathroom. Otherwise, lovely experience!

My wife and I stayed at Al Centro for 4 nights and found the location to be absolutely perfect for visiting Rome's main attractions. Our room was clean and quite quiet, with the window closed. The restaurant across the plaza that services breakfast has good food. Our host Daniel was very easy to deal with and was very helpful and speaks good English. The entrance to the building is a bit odd, with no one to greet you when you arrive.There is a doorbell a little further into the courtyard on the left side.

Great central location. The #87 bus that stops out front goes strait to Colosseum/Forum. The room was pleasant, and Daniel, the host, was friendly and helpful. However, this is NOT a B&B. No “breakfast buffet” was provided. Instead we received 6€ coupons for the mediocre nearby restaurant, which barely covered a coffee and croissant. We saved up our last four coupons for our checkout day, so we could have a full breakfast before our long flight, and the restaurant was closed that morning. So we are out 24€. Furthermore, Daniel arranged airport transportation for us that charged 5€ more than he quoted, which would have been no big deal if our stomachs hadn’t been empty as well.

We arrived earlier than check in time and Daniele was nice enough to let us check in early and leave our things in the room. We left so they could re do the room but I am so grateful he let us do that. I really enjoyed my stay there and the location is PERFECT. Walking distance to everything. I would stay here again!

Quite central area for tourist. Free 2 bottles of water everyday & free breakfast across the road called buddy which are a bonus. There are 4 separate rooms in the bed & breakfast accomodation. We stayed at room 1 which is nearest to the main door & quite specious for 2 persons. Overall had good rest for 4 days 3 nights stay except 2nd day main door door bells constantly ringing for at least 3 times which keeps me awake for whole night.

This B&B as brilliantly placed! We walked everywhere. It is traditional and very secure. Felt very safe as two women staying there. You get vouchers for Buddy's restaurant over the road, where they serve great coffee and and all food and is open until 12 midnight. The manager was very accommodating and helpful too.

Great location near Piazza Navona. Comfortable bed, good WiFi and TV with Sky channels. Reasonably priced. We were given coupons for breakfast at cafe right across the street which was nice. A little noise from next door room (and from street but only if you open the window).

The best thing about the property is location. Few amenities. Small refrigerator. Host said he'd put 2 bottles of water in each day but only did that 2 out of our 4 days. He gives chits for breakfast for each of your days to be redeemed at the cafe across the street. They were each worth €6 which was quite adequate, however if we'd have had bad weather, I would not have appreciated having to leave the building to get breakfast. The host was not present very much. The night before we left & the next morning we had no hot water. Other guests said they'd been calling him all day. We wanted to pay him for the laundry he did for us (a good value at €5 Euro), but we couldn't keep waiting or we'd missed our train. If location is paramount, this place is a good solution.

Perfect location in the historic centre of Rome. We could walk to all the major sights. A 1 minute walk to Piazza Navona. Room was very clean and bright. Lots of street noise below but with windows closed the room was quiet and no problem sleeping. Plus there’s an AC unit in the room and Wifi was strong. Buddy Cafe just across the street for breakfast. I would recommend this B&B to anyone wanting to stay in the Centro Historico of Rome!

We had a great stay with our 3 year old at Al Centro Di Roma B&B. Location was perfect as everywhere we wanted to go was less than half an hour walk away, including of course Piazza Navona being right behind our building. Room was clean, with working AC and WIFI which is really all we need :) and our host was wonderful. Single bed was setup for our daughter so she was happy. Overall, if you want to explore Rome this is a great place to stay. Coupons for "Buddy" restaurant were great as the food was excellent, we didn't go there for breakfast but had lunch and dinner there and were very happy with the food. We found some great cafes and restaurants, all minutes away from this location. Overall, very happy with our choice to stay here for our visit.

Nice little Boutique Hotel
Centrally located (the name says it all) and well maintained rooms. Danielle runs a tight little ship (or boat depends on how you look at it :)), keeps the place all tidy and clean and always cheerful and helpful. Loved the fact he contacted us a few days prior to our arrival and arranged our airport pick up. For the price I would say its real value for money. One quick note, given the sweltering heat (and since there no end in sight to global warming) the ACs definitely need some upgrades. Oh and travellers not familiar with the concept of boutique hotels in Rome, please dont look for a hotel look for the signs/door bell by the doors. :)

We stayed 4 nights and wouldn’t go anywhere else if we’re in Rome again. Location is perfect. A mile walk or bus East to the Colosseum, and the same same west to the Vatican. Less than a quarter mile north to the Pantheon. Wonderful just strolling each evening to restaurants in piazzas in any direction. Daniele also makes great recommendations. He’s an excellent host. He will arrange for car service to and from the airport if you choose, as we did. Charming, very comfortable rooms with good air conditioning (very important in August). Highly recommend.

This is a nice place in a great location and Daniel was very pleasant. BUT make sure you understand all the costs. It is not a b and b. We were given a credit of, if I remember correctly, 6 euros for breakfast at the restaurant across the square. This would barely cover the most minimal of breakfasts. Also be aware that there is an extra charge if two people are staying in the room and a further quite steep additional charge if you are checking in late. We also had a dispute over the cost of the car which was arranged to pick us up at the airport. Expedia settled this for us but the driver picking us up was rude--didn't speak to us. We then asked Daniel to arrange for a driver to take us to the airport. This driver did not show up at the allotted time so after 15 minutes we took a cab.

Amazing staff who helped with every need we had and such a nice room. It made Rome a perfect trip. And we really couldn’t have asked for a better location. There was only one time that we had to take a cab instead of walk. And the breakfast was superb. It is at a cute little cafe across the street that has all your food needs covered.

Perfect location and a great value!
We were able to walk to most of the top sights from the well-named Al Centro di Roma. Our room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the included breakfast just across the square at a pleasant little cafe. Kudos to Daniele for thinking through all of his guests' needs -- a comfy bed with nice linens, in-room Italian coffee maker and mini fridge, good wi-fi, and little details like wine glasses and bottle opener. We especially appreciated the sound-proofing shutters that blocked out the city noises for a quiet night's rest. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful place to stay. Extremely clean and comfortable. One minor issue, the power went out over the weekend when staff weren't available but we just flipped the breaker ourselves in the main hallway and all was restored. The restaurant for the breakfast passes is amazing and right across the street. Close to all main attractions. Very pleased with this choice.
