I wanted a hot bath at 12:30 am, but ran the hot water for 10 mins. with very little warmth coming out of the tap. I barely got in a warm shower, so I'm a bit disappointed with that lack hot water for all - at whatever hour.

The room was very hot and air conditioning according to the staff are shut off for the season. TV remote control not working and the staff are rude. We opened the window to get cold air in but outside noise is unimaginable. The room temperature was 26 degrees int eh afternoon when we checked in.

Close to metro station
Best thing about this hotel is that it’s located very close to the metro station and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was also pretty good for an included breakfast. The room was kinda warm because a/c wasn’t working right. Seems like another person had the same issue that day too. Luckily we didn’t stay in the summer time. Bathroom smelled funny. View from our window was really nice.

Very disappointing.Rms has no individual control of AC and they turn it off at a certain time.It might be cold for them but warm for us esp we came from a cold city.Requested a room transfer which was not honored until our last day.The guy from the reception told us to open the window which we did but with all the noise outside how can you sleep?

Property was dated and location was poor. Information provided was poor, there were flies in public and restaurant areas with no anti insect control. Cleanliness poor. NOT a 4 star hotel.

Nothing is unique about this property, it is surprising for such hotel not to have at least a kettle, coffee and tea in the room. I booked a double room for the 3rd of August but was given a single uncomfortable bed, and all I got “sorry about that” yet on 20 August I got the room that I booked and payed for. Online booking is never safe.

Conveniently close to the train station, busses, and stores nearby including a mini supermarket. The room was clean, breakfast was included, water was complimentary and the staff was very professional and friendly. The only thing I wished the hotel would capitalize on is the building decor, it is a little outdated and in some areas the smoke smell has set in. Also, be prepared to pay the tax fee and deal a bit with the wifi and tv connection. Otherwise, it was a very good stay.

We liked the location of the hotel which is close to the train station and the front desk were very nice and friendly. However the service guy name Fabrizio was so extremely rude and disrespectful over and over again. First I thought it was his culture not to smile and be so cold and very unhelpful but then after several days of being rude and not doing what the service desk asked him to do plus he yelled at us for asking clean towels, we confirmed that he is just so very rude and very disappointing. First they gave us a room in 8th floor that smelled like sewage all over the floor and the room was even worse so we asked to change the room right away and they gave us a room in 1st floor and that smelled so much mold that my allergy and my throat were acting us every time we were in the room.

Disappointment - No fault of the Hotel.
The reason I have rated as I have is because we did not reach the Hotel Regent where we were to stay after our cruise which was cancelled on the morning of our arrival in Rome, therefore we had to fly back home again.

Very clean which is a must when we go away. Close to the train station taking you into Flaminio (very cheap fare 80 cents) and is very close to auditorium parco della musica. Also they where very kind to print out our boarding passes so we could get home! Across the road was also a very good pizza place called Alice pizza.

Nice, busy hotel near Villa Borghese
Overall we had a very nice stay at Hotel Regent. Breakfast buffet was very good and I would like to give great credit to Mohammed, one of the servers there. He was very attentive to replenishing the buffet as necessary. There is a metro station and bus stop very close by that will take you to all the main attractions. The only issues we had were the clogged drain in the sink and bathtub and all of the outside trash that has accumulated for I'm not sure how long now. It's not a good look for a hotel as big as Hotel Regent to have the garbage bins out front overflowing with trash.

It's in a great ,safe location.The hotel must have been very grand when it was built in 1960 but is now in need of renovation as the rooms are very 'tired' looking and the bathrooms tiny! The breakfast is excellent with hot and cold choices and plenty of it.

The rooms were big and clean, the staff were excellent, but the breakfast was a big disappointment. We had booked breakfast for the three days we stayed but only ate there once.

Great hotel! You feel home, with the friendly staff at the reception and at the restaurant! The location is really good, calm and near Euclide station, the room is big enough for 2 persons. Highly recommended!

No air conditioning in the rooms and they were very warm. If you stay here, get a room away from the street. A lot of traffic till midnight. Breakfast and service was great. Wifi was a little slow Close to subway for fast connection to train station

Pleasant stay!
Staff was really nice and helpful! On the last day of our stay, we dont have any plan for the day but our flight was in the afternoon so we called the front desk to see if we can pay for a later checkout. The hotel staff let us stay for an extra 2 hours for free and even offered to rent a taxi for us to go to the airport. Room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was good! Food choice from nearby is limited but there is a supermarket few steps away from the hotel. We stayed in a few hotels during our trip in Italy and this one is definitely among the top3!

This is not a Upto 4star hotel standards. The rooms are old with old deco, no aircon and toilet was leaking. We were on the 8th floor and could hardly sleep at night due to the noise from the street, windows are not at all double glazed and you can hear a lot of traffic noise in the middle of the night. The breakfast is ok, nothing that great about it. Location is good as close to metro, bus stop and supermarket next door. Friendly English Speaking staff. Overall disappointed with this hotel.

Its a decent hotel for a good price. Love the buffet breakfast. The only thing I complain is that there is only 1 plug in next to bed and its the only one in the bedroom. Also the couch cover in the lounge area, it seems like its never been wash. Overall all its a nice place to stay, the bed is clean and the staff are all friendly and accomodating.
