Dear Sirs,
regarding this reservation, please note that we are somewhat surprised and sorry about it.
You had booked a classic twin (for 2 pax) which includes 2 single beds. Upon arrival, you showed up with your 2 children for a total of 4 people. We pointed out that the number of people was not that at the time of booking and also the type of room booked, but given the late hour and the presence 2 children, We agreed to let you stay. You told us you would sleep 2 per bed. Furthermore We did not ask for any extra payment for the children neither for the overnight stay nor for the breakfast they made. Check out time was not respected, as you left the room well after the check-out time.
No complaints were reported on arrival, not even on departure.
I believe it was our duty to explain this review.
Thanks
Hotel Siena
Had a really good time at LHP Siena, the staff were really helpful and welcoming allowing us to check in early at no extra charge and letting us store our luggage while we roam the city. The best feature of this hotel is the location which is outstanding. It’s located in between Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps, no more than a 2 minute walk to either landmark. The room was comfortable and compact but I did notice a dark stain on the net curtains which may possibly be blood but other than that i would recommend staying here!
Excellent location. Fine hotel for a short stay. The bed was extremely hard, difficult to sleep at times. Room needed a coat of paint, marks on walls, etc., but otherwise decent size and comfortable. The bathroom was very good, spacious, clean. Breakfast was standard, good enough and fresh.
The second room we required had no hot water in the shower for 2 days until the hotel decided it would only work if the hot water tap worked in the sink at the same time the shower was on. Not good enough. The room also had no air conditioning for 2 days until it was fixed by the maintenance man. That is 2 days into the trip, half way through. Not good enough. The door stopped working also in this room on the 3rd day. It would not lock causing a delay in plans. Not good enough. Imagine not being able to shower after travelling indeed for 2 days. Then not being able to sleep because the room was too hot and the tiny window did not allow enough air in and the air conditioning did not work. That is the situation my 75 year old mother and her elderly friend found themselves. Terrible just terrible.
The check in process was easy! Johnny was very helpful. The room was small but cozy. The bathroom was a good size. The lift is tiny! The breakfast had scrambled eggs, wet (seems to be the European way), pastries, coffee, fruit. They let us keep our luggage there until early evening. The metro is a short walk and also the Trevi fountain and Spanish steps are also a short walk. There is a gelato shop right across from the hotel. This hotel was great for our short time in Rome!
Location is excellent. Staff is not very friendly. On check in they said maybe 5 words to us. For breakfast, no one offered any coffee and we had to go find someone to make us one. (It is part of the free breakfast if you book that option.) I stayed here about 10 years ago and definitely had a better experience then versus recently.
Location was excellent!!
Staff ran hot and cold- some were okay, others couldn’t have cared at all.
The room was dark due to the location of the window.
The door to the shower was incomplete, so each time we had a shower the floor flooded.
The bed was not comfortable.
Breakfast was disappointing- 3 fruit choices, only one fresh option; the juice was bottled, not freshly squeezed; staff were inattentive.
On the whole a disappointing experience.
Do not stay here!!!
Third time staying here. Rooms are always very clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Plus, the location can’t be beat! If you have a chance to eat at the trattoria next door, do it!
The staff were very helpful, room was clean and basic but had everything we needed although the bed was too hard for me. The best shower we have ever come across in a hotel, safe in the room which was great and easy to use, free wi fi, no restaurant in the hotel but a fabulous on a few steps across the road along with many more close by. A great starting point for exploring Rome as only a few minutes from the Trevi Fountain one way and the Spanish Steps the other, no more than a 25 minute walk to the Vatican so a brilliant location. I have to say that they are closing for a total refurbishment in November and not due to reopen until spring 2021 so we are planning on going back to see how it looks then.
On arriving we was met with a welcoming reception, it was clean and the breakfast was everything we needed, overall it was a lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location
We booked the day before arriving. Excellent location - 5min stroll to Trevi Fountain. Room was a great size and very functional bathroom. Although in a busy area, there was no street noises heard from room which made for a restful nights sleep. Highly recommend. We’ll be back!
The staff at this hotel is fairly friendly and helpful. You can’t beat this location. It is close to everything! If you don’t mind city noise then this location is perfect if you can tolerate the downsides of this hotel. Somehow we got booked for a room in the annex building. It seemed as though it was also an apartment building with no lobby. There were mailboxes and bicycle storage. We had to use to two keys and climb two sets of stairs to get to our room. Then swipes our room key. Inside our room, the mattress was hard as a rock. The face towels were rough.
Overall I would book this hotel for just one night. It is fine for one night but anything longer, I would not recommend.
A lovely boutique hotel in a great location in central Rome. Rooms are a bit small for a couple with a lot of luggage (as we were leaving on a cruise after a 3-day stay in Rome). Excellent breakfast and friendly, helpful front desk staff. Good restaurants in short walking distance.
Amazing boutique hotel in the heart of Rome. Excellent. Breakfast buffet. Great shopping and dining only a few steps away. Right in the middle of the shopping district.
all personal were helpful respectful and professional

Disliked: Amenities
The property was considerably smaller than expected. Mattress was very hard, like sleeping on the ground. There were ants in one room. Early tours before the breakfast room opened. Unavailable. Would not recommend this hotel although the location was perfect.
All the staff is really nice and polite. Very helpful. Best of all the place and room is really nice and clean. And it in the middle of all the main attractions walking distance. We highly recommended this hotel!

I booked this hotel for my parents as a Christmas present . I chose it based on location . They said it was absolutely fantastic location and looking on the maps it couldn’t have been any more central . They said the room was clean however small. I had warned them the inclusive breakfast only scored 2.6 on the reviews however they said the breakfast was lovely. From their feedback it sounds like they would recommend this hotel .
Good location. Elevator very narrow .Room very small with two low wooden beams coming off the cieling that u have to watch for ur head while entering or walking in the room. Bed not comfy. Washing basin very small. Iron is not available in the room and u can only do the ironing at the restaurant after 10.30 am.breakfast very simple.
It is rated 4 stars.... By whom?
The location is wonderful!!
The hotel is run down.. My room was dark.. Almost
No windows... The windows were slotted and didn't open all the way... But we needed it for light more than anything.. The hotel is quite small and the elevator holds 2 people at a time
The breakfast was the worst.... Ant crawling around and no food to be eaten.... Eggs were cold.... There was toast and limited yogurt and fruit
That's it!
Small and not nice... Certainly not a 4 star hotel by anyones imagination!

Dear Guest,
you were given the room you booked and of course before choosing a room,we assume you saw all the pictures of the room itself so you knew it very well.
As far as breakfast is concerned we have a wide selection of food ( fruit, yogurt, pancakes, croissants, cheese and many on) in fact it is a continental breakfast.
As for the ants crawling around, you must be the only one who saw them as nobody complained or reported anything.
We hope to see you back in the future in our Hotel.
Best regards
Best location between Trevi fountain to The Spanish steps, quiet alley, walking distance from everywhere, small room but cozy, nice breakfast, good wifi coverage and most of all - very friendly staff
Our room was lovely, but smelt really badly of drains. The hotel sprayed with air freshener which helped for a few hours, then wore off and the smell was back. A shame because for me it spoiled a very nice room. Seems no excuse in winter for drains to smell.
This hotel was wonderful. The front desk/concierge was amazing. He went out of his way to help us with anything we needed. The housekeeping staff kept our rooms impeccably clean. The included breakfast was ample, fruits, eggs, meats, breads, pastries, cheeses, cereals, juices, and coffees. If we ever get to go back to Rome, this would be the hotel I would choose!
Great location. Staff was very friendly and incredibly helpful. I also appreciated the good water pressure and ample hot water. That’s important after a long day of sight seeing. Beds were a little uncomfortable, but not significant enough to not stay again.
Central location ,close to all main attractions.Helpful staff offering an enjoyable experience whilst providing a light, hearty breakfast with fresh and wholesome food. Hotel is compact ,clean and with everything available for a short mini break. Would recommend it unreservedly.
our stay was good, the hotel is located in the center of Rome.
The room is a bit small but it was very clean, the service and breakfast was very good.
The WiFi Reception in the room was poor.
