Great location and has everything you'd need. Downsides are the bed is quite uncomfortable, it's really loud from sounds as people come into the apartment block and loud footsteps upstairs.

Roma fantastico
Fantastic location and will definitely use again. Little bit unconventional with the reception across the street and the breakfast being served in a local cafe. No complaints and we got it for a very reasonable price.

Best experience ever due to the hotel manager
Hotel manager, Christiano was beyond amazing. Helped me with everything. No confusion just extremely helpful. This is the best stay I have ever had and I stay in 100 hotels per year. Plus, his assistant manager, Martina, was also amazing. Very helpful and friendly. Went beyond out of their way.

Not what you're used to, but not bad.
This hotel is essentially a collection of apartments in central Rome managed through a central hub. It's a bit of an odd experience, but for the price, location, and experience it was well worth it. Take note of where it says to check-in as this location might be different from the actual hotel you're staying at. Our room actually ended up being in a different building from the Expedia listing, but the desk attendant walked us to the new location and showed us how to get in and answer any questions. Our room was fairly spacious with a comfortable bed, large armoire, and desk. The bathroom was small, but served its purpose. Everything was fairly new and updated in a more modern feel. The in-room wifi was the best of all the hotels we've stayed at in Italy.

Nice room--but staffing inadequate.
First of all you need to understand that this is not a hotel in the usual sense. There is no 24 hour staff and the rooms are located in various buildings. The location is great. However, they failed to notify us that the check in desk was not in the same building as the room and that you needed a combination to even get in to register. If another guest had not shown us where to go and let us in, we would have been sleeping on the street. You need to ask for specific check-in instructions and be sure that you arrive between 9 am and 6 pm. Otherwise you're out of luck. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. However the wi-fi was iffy. During our first stay, we had no hot water to shower. Our second stay in a different room was fine. The continental breakfast was located in a coffee shop a five minute walk away. Not convenient but very good croissants and cappuccino. If the staff had been careful to let us know the procedures, it would have been a much more satisfying experience.

Nova Domizia is in the perfect location, 2 minutes walk from Piazza Navona in the heart of Rome. The apartment-style accomodation is very comfortable with lovely decor and hosts, Christina and Tomaso, are so friendly and helpful. We would certainly return to this hotel again.

Misrepresented. This is not a hotel!
Nova Domizia is not a hotel as they advertise. It is an apartment in a residential building which they divided into four bedrooms which they rent to the people as a hotel room. The reception is located in another residential building down the same road in a small apartment with a sofa and a reception desk. The so called breakfast that is included is a voucher for a coffee and a croissant at a bar at the end of the road. The rooms are nothing like the pictures on Expedia. They are smelly with the cleaner they use. It smells like bug spray; and the building is old, dark and musty. There are plenty of rooms in Rome to rent; do yourselves a favor and look for other places. I have traveled with students, friends, and my family for over 30 years and I never complained about any rooms in my life. This residence - which is what it is - is the worst!

Because of a gas leak we were moved to a different location just at the top of the Spanish steps. Despite the good location it didn't look at all like the place I paid for. To get to the "hotel" you have to go through many stairs and three dial-combination doors. Very inconvenient with luggage. The beds were in terrible condition and the shower didn't work. the wifi just didn't work.

Difficult to find even the taxi did not know exactly where it was. Number of building and sign need to be clearer/bigger. Room very clean and adequate for our needs. Reception Staff ok but did not put themselves out which was surprising as would have thought with so few guests and so little to do they would welcome some interaction with them

They have several properties which can be good to choose what you would like to stay close to. Be sure you can handle the stairs or stay where they don't have any. They were good to help me extend my stay a few more days.

Great hotel, shame about check in.
Wonderful room, in a brilliant location, after a disappointing check in. We arrived at this hotels reception (in a different location from the room we eventually stayed in). We were given the option of two rooms (this sounds great, but we were able to see the first room, with no option but to gamble on the second), the first of which I was shown. It was small and dark, but in a reasonable location and would have been acceptable. We were also given the choice of a second, "down the road" but were unable to see it before deciding which room to take. I was told it was very similar to the one I was shown, but noisier. We eventually decided to take a gamble, which paid off. The room was very spacious and just across the road from the castle, and as for the noise- it was extremely quiet with the windows closed, but much noisier with them open. All in all, this was a lovely hotel, but I would have expected a better check in and there should have been no choice given as it made us feel uneasy.

Despite the Expedia listing; this is NOT a Hotel. On arrival at the property (reception on second floor) we were then ushered out of the property 100 yards up the alley way to an apartment. In addition, it is NOT bed and breakfast as vouchers are given to a choice of 3 different establishments, the only one worthy of using is a 15 minute walk away. Having used Expedia for a number of years and all around the world, I will think twice about selecting my Hotel from their listings.

Great location, price, but NOISY
Great neighborhood, great price, large room, but the walls were paper thin so be prepared to wear earplugs! You could hear everything that went on in the common corridor and in your neighbor's room. So wear yourself out with all that Rome has to offer and you won't notice the noise :)

Basic accommodation - a room without a view! But, very well located for exploring Rome on foot. Easy access to the Vatican city and the Ghetto district. Breakfast is minimal and is taken in a local cafe. Not a hotel - but service adequate. Rooms in two locations some distance apart. Preferred to be in the older building as the other facility was particularly dark and near very busy traffic.

OK B&B close to Piazza Navona & Campo dei Fiori
I had read about the hotel staff trying to pull a switch-a-roo on travellers, telling them that Nova Domizia was under construction and that there room was at Residence Domizia...even though that is not what they had booked. I was glad I had read this since this is exactly what the check-in person tried when I went to check-in. The check-in is at Residence Domizia, however I specifically booked Nova Domizia and was quite frustrated that after a long travel time, I had to deal with this. Finally we got our keyfor our room, however it was not the Juniour Suite room I had booked and paid extra for each night. They said that our room was already occupied, and that the other room was the junior suite, however it did not match the pictures. Finally after having the check-in person come over, we were told we'd be able to move into the room we booked the next morning and had to stay in a smaller room for the first night. This entire process was very frustrating, especially since they do not speak English. The next morning we received the new keys, and they did move our luggage to the correct room, however there was no offer to refund the difference in the room upgrade cost for that night, nor any effort made to make up for the inconvenience. Also, the hot water switch somehow got turned off in the hallway, so we were not able to have a shower the one evening - another inconvenience. Overall the staff lack customer service, and do not help when you call their front desk,

I booked with Nova Domizia, and they gave me a room at their newest sister hotel, Domizia Top Floor, which is a few minutes away from Nova Domizia and very close to Piazza Navona. Their sister hotel (one of four, I believe) is great! Everything is brand new - we were only the second guests to stay in the room. The rooms were clean and modern and very large, much larger than in other hotels I've stayed in for the price. The only problem is that the breakfast cafe was located around 7-10 minutes from the hotel, which was inconvenient. Otherwise I would have given this hotel 5 stars. The hotel staff said they were working on finding a closer breakfast spot though. I can't comment on Nova Domizia itself, but if you have the opportunity, please request their Top Floor sister hotel.

Ubicación increíble, alojamiento agradable
La localización es increíble. Lo único que la recepción de los apartamentos está en la misma acera enfrente de ellos, pero está muy cerca. Las habitación estaba bien: las camas muy cómodas y la decoración un poco antigua pero funcional. También estaba muy limpia. Lo único que no me gustó es que la habitación daba a un patio, a pesar de haber solicitado buenas vistas. El personal muy amable. Sin duda volvería de nuevo y lo recomendaré a mis amigos. Gracias!

La chicas de la recepcion, unas genias. Martina, habla excelente español. fue de gran ayuda para nosotros. De hecho, hasta nos ayudo a conseguir entradas para el vaticano y el coliseo al precio oficial. Super atentas. Volveria!! Nos sentimos muy comodos y a gusto. La habitacion, esta muy bien. super comodo y limpio. Buena relacion, precio calidad. el chech in, no es complicado. solo tenes que leer detalladamente las indicaciones que te dan, y no vas a tener ningun problema. Exclente ubicacion, desde alli haces todo caminando.

Centralt beliggende i Rom
Hotellet ligger meget centralt, er rent og personalet er meget hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden får man på en nærliggende cafe der ligger lige ved Cadtel Sankt Angelo. Man skal ikke lade sig skræmme hvis værelset ligger i nr 236 og receptionen ligger i nr 14 - de to ligger næsten over for hinanden på gaden, så man skal bare gå omkring 50 meter mellem de to. Desuden er personalet flinke til at hjælpe en på plafs.

Kaikki toimi perustasolla hyvin eikä varsinaista valittamista ollut missään. Sijainti on erinomainen ja moneen suuntaan on helppo kulkea jalkaisin. Valitettavasti myös hiukan meluisa ja äänieristys on olematon. Aamiainen oli suomalaiseen makuun hyvin pieni, mutta kyllä maukas.

L'emplacement est parfait pour visiter au sein d'une petite rue commerçante mais très calme. La propreté de l'hôtel est bonne. Le confort est très simple. Chambre basique avec une minuscule fenêtre. Gros point négatif, pas de salle de petit déjeuner. Il faut marcher 10 minute pour prendre le petit déjeuner dan sun café au bout de la rue.

Veldig fornøyd! Kan absolutt anbefales.
Veldig fint hotell med hyggelige ansatte. Frokosten var enkel og holdt ikke så lenge utover dagen, men til gjengjeld veldig god. Veldig perfekt lokasjon med ca. 2 min gange til Piazza Navona, men likevel stille og rolig på kveldstid. Gledelig overraskelse med badekar :)

No regret with pleasant fare
Best location to discover genuine Rome. All staff are so friendly and kind. Despite being aged, room condition was always kept clean with rustic and charming decoration during my staying and it is quite spacious for double room. If your budget is not sufficient but you are still seeking a comfortable and clean hotel, I highly recommend you to stay in Nova Domizia. Breakfast service is also lovely.

Kleines Hotel in zentraler Lage
Das Hotel hat vier Zimmer und die Rezeption ist bis 19 Uhr besetzt. Ein kleines Frühstück gibt es in einem Cafe ca. 5 min entfernt Richtung Vatikan und Engelsburg. Die Lage ist wunderbar in einer schönen kleinen Gasse!! In wenigen Gehminuten hat man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten erreicht und in 2 min ist man an einem Platz, von dem viele Busse fahren, so dass man auch bequem zu den weiter entfernten Sehenswürdigkeiten kommt. Das Zimmer war sauber und würde täglich gereinigt.

overall, it was a pleasant stay. the service was very good and the staff was very friendly. the room had no view and was a bit smaller than expected. the breakfast included was at a cosy restaurant nearby, the food was basic but sufficient - a coffee, a croissant and a small fruit salad. the street and area is very beautiful and nearby to historical sights, all within walking distance. however, if you are looking to avoid heavy turism and want to get off the beaten track this is not it.

God belligenhed - dårlig service
Hotellet får ikke varme anbefalinger af mig. Vi ankom 23.50 og kunne ikke få adgang ril værelset, hvilket resulterede i at vi måtte booke et andet kl. 01 om natten. Udover at det ikke var en fantastisk start på vores tur til Rom kostede det os ekstra 1200 kr. til en ny overnatning. Det værelse vi fik tildelt lå lige op ad hovedindgang, så der var en del larm. Vi kom tidligt op hverdag. Under vores ophold mødte vi flere nye gæster, som havde problemer med at få kontakt med receptionen.

Unser Zimmer war hübsch eingerichtet und durchaus zum Wohlfühlen. Sehr freundliches Personal an der Rezeption! Es gab kleine Schönheitsmängel im Bad, die uns jedoch nicht weiter störten. Es ist etwas hellhörig.

Ikke prangende værelse. Det var svært at finde, da nøglen skal hentes lidt længere nede af gaden/det fremgår ikke tydeligt når man bestiller og hotellet et ikke skiltet, kun på dørtelefon.Ligger perfekt i centrum af Rom. Til prisen er det det hele værd.

vooral uitstekende ligging, alles op loopafstand, goed hotel, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel ontbijt even verderop, maar wel goed de tv op de kamer werkte niet, maar kregen meteen een andere vergelijkbare kamer aangeboden gezellig, wat oud, maar keurig verzorgd
