This property was great to stay in. Heated bathroom floors, bath and shower and great kitchen kitout. Loved that you got 300ml milk allows for decent number of drinks. The beds were comfortable. Great number and range of tv channels. Really the only thing I can say as a negative is that the bins were extremely small. Will definitely be staying there again. My 5 and 3 year old grandkids loved it as well.

Nice new spacious . The best room we stayed in and the best pillows. Kitchenette was very useful. Big beds. On busy road but no noise because double glazed glass.

We absolutely loved this property. The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds comfortable. We had a small kitchen with everything we needed. If I’m ever in the part of the world again I’d definitely stay here.

I normally don't stay in a motel, but this one was quite surprisingly nice. Brand new, smelled new, very nicely decorated, had all the dishes and things to make meals, bed was nice. The drawback was there is no elevator, and my bags were full capacity. They weighed more than half of me. It would've been nice to have someone help me bring the bags up and down the stairs. I didn't check out their breakfast.

We booked a king bedroom with spa. The kitchenette in the room was very nice especially to do breakfast. Bathroom has a good size. the room was very clean and well designed. Staff was helpful.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Even though the location was on the major street, it was quiet for sleeping. The shower pressure was good, and we appreciated the little touches, such as heated towel racks. There is a large supermarket across the street which was very convenient for picking up breakfast items. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Newina Rotorua

Super clean motel (recently refurbished) and super helpful staff. No breakfast, but lots of good options in downtown Rotorua, 10 mins drive.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST, DO NOT STAY. The facility was decent but the service straight out terrible and ruined my entire trip. You're better on finding a different facility, there's many others in the area. The owner is the rudest and meanest person I've ever met. I had a friend who was touring me around and coming in and out of the property to drop us off and have lunch or dinner. The owner kept accusing us of sneaking an extra person in the room when we told them multiple times even during check in that the friend was not staying with us. Flat out rude to my guest, eyeing him down and watching our room the entire time. When I confronted him and told him that the friend was not staying, the owner literally said "well I don't know about that". Also high key felt racially discriminated against, as my family and guest were not fluent English speakers. If I had known, I would've booked somewhere as far away from this motel as possible.

We stayed here 4 nights for a work trip. The room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. It was an easy drive to the workshop we attended as well as to grocery stores and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Outstanding, brand new, you will love it!
This place is wonderful! Ignore the handful of poor reviews. You will love this place. It is literally brand new and super clean! The finishes are not cheapo motel type stuff, they are high quality materials. Great fluffy towels, nice soap and hair products. Full kitchen with everything you need for small meals. Tea and coffee with milk in the fridge for you. Air conditioning. Mattress pad is heated, nice touch! Excellent mattress and sheets. The hot tub is awesome! Geothermally heated and also brand new. There’s a small gym and sauna too! Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Right across the street from a Countdown supermarket and fast food restaurants and just a five minute drive from town. Book here, you will be glad you did.

This property has recently had a remodel and it is beautifully done with everything that you need. The only thing we didnt have available was breakfast but there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

Nice cozy room
We love the accommodations, was new and definitely very clean . There is a jacuzzi at the back but a pity we did not use as it was a cold weather as it was raining as well. The room come with heating so we had a very comfortable stay and it was very well equipped with kitchen and fridge. The property is surrounded by supermarket and eateries so convenient. Highly recommended. Hope to stay again in future.
