"Lovely hotel, perfect location, clean, lovely staff especially those in the restaurant and poolside bar. Their service impeccable. Pools are great. Didn’t really see the point of the Spa, maybe it’s a novelty in Europe but really just a couple of jacuzzi’s, indoor pool and sauna. Only used once. Rooms lovely and spacious. "The hotel is very old and in a very bad condition. Everything, including the sheets and towels, in the room was dirty. The bathroom was not comfortable. The room cleaning service never did the job perfectly (each day they forgot something, sometimes forgot to put towels, sometimes forgot to put sheets on the bed or cover the pillow). "As this was the cheapest hotel available for my stay in Salou, I wasn't expecting much. However I was pleasantly surprised on almost all bases! The hotel is in a great location, just 2 mins walk from the main drag, and 5 mins walk from the beach. The rooms are recently refurbed and are in a great condition, especially for the little I feel I paid for them. The food was perfect for us, we travelled as two adults and two children aged 2 and 3. "Nice apartment in a very nice complex. Bit of a pain trying to Birsasol office to get the keys. Lots of things not included such as a kettle; iron etc. They are all add-on extras and pricey. We went in early September and the pool was unheated and very cold. No good for for young kids."
