Nice location and price.Posted Oct 19, 2013
Pros: We liked the staff, my daughter said "They treat us like family!" We were offered the breakfast area for a birthday party for a child. Very pleasant
Cons: The remodeling they are planning should be all that is needed for improvements. Everything else was nice.
Location: The location is right off Redwood and 3500 making it easy to get to and from other business we had in town.
The furniture was old and worn but all of our needs were met. The staff were very pleasant and went out of their way to accomodate anything we wanted or needed. We were told that they were going to start remodeling in about 30 days and there would be new drapes, bedcovers, carpets and furniture. If that is the case then we would absolutely stay there again. The kids enjoyed the pool and the hotel was quiet. It was a plesant stay.

Walking distance to Maverik Center!Posted Aug 6, 2013
Pros: The walking distance to Maverik Center and a few restaurants across the street.
Cons: Renovate, renovate and renovate. But, then CLEAN IT!
Location: We came for a concert so the Maverik Center was walking distance from the hotel.
Unfortunately, we can't recommend this hotel to family or friends. This hotel is in need of renovation and more. Our room was so old and dirty that I don't know how to even start describing it. The carpets, sofas, drapes need to be tossed. The chairs that were in the room were broken and couldn't use it. For what we paid for this room, it is a shame that they don't use the funds in updating this hotel. One major mistake that they are making is leaving back doors open for anyone to enter into the hotel from the back. We saw people entering and leaving and not sure if they were guests of the hotel. This is a critical situation that needs attention. My daughter and I did not feel safe in this hotel.

Close to Maverick Center, but.....Posted Aug 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
Not a great place. The price was right but the room was dingy and the bed was not comfortable. The door didn't lock properly, had to mess with it to make it latch.

Family StayPosted Mar 24, 2013
Confusion on room, gave me a room with 1 bed instead of 2, Reservation was 2 beds. Had to switch to new room which was king bed and sofa couch. Bed was uncomfortable and some light fixtures didn't work. Employees were friendly and was a nice hotel.

Nice acomodations. However don't stay there if there is an event at the Maverik Center, hotel does not keep concert attendees from parking in the hotel guest parking area and if you come back from your business you wont find a parking spot at the hotel.

Bad customer service, poor hotel condition.Posted Sep 5, 2012
Pros: Leaving. Being able to cancel my return reservation.
Cons: No A/C in room, poor customer service, apathetic staff
Location: Nothing special.
Where to start...I guess a good starting point would be that it was 104 F on the day we arrived. We arrived around 3 PM and got in our room pretty quickly. When we go up there, it was quite warm as the AC was not running. I turned it on and only got hot air out of it. After about 20 minutes the hot air was still coming out. I called the front desk and the guy at the front desk said “Yes, I don't think the air is working in that room. I'll bring up some fans." I asked to simply switch rooms and he said no other rooms were available. I will refer you back to being 104 F at this point. We went to dinner and a movie and returned around 10 PM and the room, even with two fans and the window open was unbearable. I went down to discuss the matter with the clerk. He stated all he could do was check me out and refund my money. I said that wasn't good enough and I had two small children and I wasn't about to go looking for a room at 10 PM in a strange city. He called over to the hotel next door and got us a room there, so here we were at 11 PM going to a "lower quality" hotel(nightly rate $59 versus the $98 we paid here) where it was just kind of nasty but at least it had air. He did say we could still have breakfast there and use the pool facilities. Very gracious of him…not. I would have preferred he refund my money and help me and my family carry our stuff to the new hotel and they could have charged us their rate, but I guess customer satisfaction isn’t a big concern.
