We have been here before and liked it so that we decided to stay again and will the next time we are in town. My son is allergic to cats and I think maybe there was one in his room prior and he had a bit of an issue breathing in his room so we switched rooms and Everything was excellent after that. The people were very friendly 😁

I enjoyed the mini suite they offer, though a little small in the bathroom, the bed and room was lovely. Lacked some complimentary amenities like shampoo and hand soap, but otherwise perfect for a short weekend stay!

Great place for a quick business trip stopover
Check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent. Breakfast was basic but well done. What more do you want when you're just spending the night on a business trip?

Good enough stay
I stayed here last year too at this same time and it seems I had a newly remodeled room last year. This year the room was good enough; I would stay again but that is because there are limited options in Santee. Last year I did not smell as much dope as I did this year. The smell of marijuana was very off putting. Those people smoking dope keep in mind are also driving vehicles so that had me concerned. I moved out of CA 3 years ago for a myriad of reasons one being the constant and continuous smell of dope. Blah blah medical marijuana, then don't drive and stay home. There was a white Prius in the parking lot that I reported because it was fully to the brim with possessions and the people in it never seemed to get out of it and the smell of dope was wafting out of it. Overall, I had a good stay because all I needed was a place to sleep and for that it worked out well. The staff were very nice and very helpful and accommodating and that is always a bonus with me. Thank you BW for the good staff.

This property is unrecognized by my Garmin GPS. Makes it very hard to find. Small sign. Website stated free breakfast. Nope.. no free breakfast. I thought it was over priced for what it is. Parking is kinda tight.

Front desk greeter was friendly and helpful. But they were laying and cutting new tile which was very noisy. Greeter moved our room but still cutting/ shaping tiles was annoying for most of the day

I suppose, if you can’t find anywhere else..
The staff was very nice..but the hotel was a little run down ..nothing luxurious..very basic.. toilet tank looks like it has been glued back together… light switch in the bathroom look like it needed to be replaced..((breakfast was adequate)) there was a smoke shop ,donut shop and a 7-Eleven right next door . Parking was very limited and tight…it’s definitely a place you just want to sleep quickly and be out all day.

I did not make a reservation for this property. I did seach it through expedia, but did not make the reservation. I never even stayed at the property, however, I was charged for one night. I contacted the property for a refund, however, was told I would still be charged for one night. I also contacted expedia, they would not refund the charge.

Easy check-in, super easy check-out, friendly Staff. Clean room and grounds, reasonably quiet, nice small clean pool. Room needed some attention but don't they all. Plastic bathtub had a few holes punched in it, room lamp was deformed a bit, and lighting was typical for a motel - garish, unfriendly and cold (what, is this a requirement or something?)! All said, I'd stay there again.
