The Marriot is within a 2 minute walk of Old Town. Very convenient and easy to get to, clean rooms with pleasant staff.

“Sea World Escape”

This hotel is located within 5 miles of Sea World in Old Town. The staff was extremely friendly. Although free parking is not easily found, the rooms and hotel are very comfortable. The koi ponds are a nice touch.

“Best Kept Secret”

Courtyard by Marriott Old Town was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. The location was set away from the typical hotel row. The parking garages were located in a great location. We were able to park in a garage and enter the hotel in less than 50 steps. Customer service was above the standard.We will utilize this hotel in the future as our new San Diego home away from home.

“Best located San Diego hotel”

I stayed at this hotel with my husband and 2 year old and it was great! Right off the 5 freeway, in the middle of several main attractions (Sea World, Balboa Park, Petco Park, etc), and only few blocks from Old Town. We had an excellent time and the staff was very accommodating, especially to my son. They even let him feed the koi in the pond in front of the hotel. We are already planning our next San Diego trip and will be staying at the same hotel!

Great location! We wanted to go to Old Town and it was just a short walk. It was also a good middle point for going to the San Diego Zoo and Sea World.

The Courtyard Marriott/Old Town is located in a very central part of San Diego making it a great place to stay with easy access to freeways etc. as well as being right in Old Town which has many dining options. Hotel was very clean and nice with some floors being updated. The only complaint I have is that the hotel makes you pay $.75 a day for USA Today newspaper which is usually free at all other hotels I've stayed at as well as a $15.00 dollar a day parking fee. You can safely park on the streets in the area.

“Great old town hotel”

I loved the fact that this hotel blended in with the rest of Old Town. Even though it is a chain it has a lot of character and history. And it was so convenient! An easy walk to many shops and resteraunts. And not too far from the trolly station which made it easy to get to the convention center and gaslamp district.
