Best we've found for the price

Pros: Handy location for Vista/Oceanside.
Cons: Hair dryer would have been useful. Bathroom counter hadn't been thoroughly cleaned, but everything else was OK.
We haven't found anything reasonably priced in the Oceanside area, where we make an overnight stay several times a year. Many are too close to the freeway. This one is next to a smaller highway, and was quiet. Room was fine, though no hair dryer or coffee maker. Still overpriced, but the best value we've found for the price.

Bad choice

Pros: The only positive comment I have is for the very nice women at the front desk, both of whom were helpful and pleasant.
Cons: Everything but the staff. If you want to print out your boarding pass, be sure to bring your own printer.
Location: Lots of good shopping nearby, nothing fancy but anything else you could want.
My stay was for six days, so I got to know the hotel fairly well. I've never seen so many dogs of all sizes and shapes as I did at this hotel! My impression was that it specialized in renting to owners with dogs. The biggest problem for me with the "paper-thin" walls and floors. I could hear the occupants in the rooms on both sides of me and footsteps from the room above me. My suspicion is that the floors are plywood under the carpeting. I not only heard loud foot step sounds from above, but also from people in the hall. Other aspects of my room that offended me: two clumps of dog hair on my carpet; one of the lights did not work and I asked three times on three separate days for it to be repaired, and it never was. Breakfast was set up in the hallway opposite the reception desk. No tables, so I had to carry the breakfast to my room: packaged instant oatmeal, muffins, fruit, and "energy" bars (with hydrogenated oil), coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. No trays, so I had to juggle whatever I took up to my room. My room was equipped with two pots that come that were badly burned. If you are offended by cigarette smoke, stay away from the third floor. It's half smoker and half non-smoker. My non-smoker room had that stale smell of a former smokers' room. As soon as I smelled it asked for another room. Very serious problem: no workout facilities and no pool.

Nice, convenient, reasonable

Boring location but nice room. Beds and pillows were lumpy and blankets needed to be washed. Staff very helpful and friendly. No bugs, plenty of hot water and towels. I would stay here again if I needed to.

Overall really good..4.5......staff wasn't in the lobby much... and the fridge in the room had some dents which make u think they shud replace it..bed was kinda hard.. minor things... but 4.5 out 5

Pros: Josie was always smiling and pleasant on my multiple interactions at the front desk
Cons: laundry room dryer vents daily cleaning and a sign that says how long the dryer will be running
I enjoyed the quietness of the hotel and the view of the golf course

Hotel was great, only complaint would have to be the customer service front desk when calling 3x for assistance with the WIFI. I had a work deadline which was missed due to no WIFI, even though I was told by the front desk staff that it was fixed & they were calling customer support & would transfer them to my room for assistance, which never happened.

All was excellent except extremely hard bed. Everything was so clean and nice, good staff. very bad bed.
