Rooms have been remodeled in last couple of years decently. Room was clean and better than a motel 6 or something on that level. The location is good. That being said, the property lacks certain simple amenities like ice and the tv didn't turn off/on or volume work without unplugging it from the wall. My biggest issue was that I booked initially for one night less than needed. I called Expedia (because the website would not let me adjust the booking) that night and they could not help. I called the hotel and they reassured me adding a night was not a problem. They would not give me a confirmation number. I called back a week before the trip and got the same spiel, it was all good, they had entered a note in their system and I was good for the additional night. When we got to the hotel, I was told I did not have the room and there was no note. Eventually, after I explained it 5 times, the desk person looked at the computer and decided I could stay in that room. On the day before I was supposed to leave, I got a call from the hotel saying my stuff was still in the room and when was I going to come get it. I again, had to explain multiple times that I had talked to someone on at least 4 occasions about this and was told we would be fine. Eventually, they said ok, we will give you another night. That being said, the hotel lobby was not open when I checked out at 9am and I dropped the key. I have not received any invoice and I do not know whether they charged me more or how much.
