Staff was awesome from valet, check in & bartender.
Rooms we clean and comfortable. Walking distance to all the theaters. The streets have many homeless, but the property was safe.

This place was expensive for what it offered. The rooms were very average and dated. The lobby is nice. The only parking available is Valet only, which is incredibly expensive. The area feels unsafe so parking somewhere else and walking back is not really an option. The pool is at another hotel which is not walkable due to the area.

The location is excellent for the Theater district. Our check-in was very slow but everything else was wonderful. The area around the property is very homeless but that is not the fault of the hotel. We would definitely stay there again.
The hotel staff was very accommodating and helpful, my niece actually had an accident and fell and sprained her ankle and the staff was accommodating meeting us with a wheelchair and bringing her to the room.
The check in and check out process was easy. We had no wait. It’s close to many things in the city, but the streets further north aren’t that nice/can be dangerous. We had no issues and the room was nice and clean.
This property is amazing but the surrounding area was very unsafe. I believe this was once a very nice area but unfortunately the area outside the property is chaos on two sides.

Our executive suite was sparce with only one tv, and not close to sitting areas. Windows (in both room and 55 restaurant) were dirty. Service in restaurant very slow, yet quality of breakfast food was great. Overall, too expensive!

The hotel itself was extremely nice for a fair price, had an amazing stay and all staff were so kind and helpful! Would definitely recommend coming here again!
Well run, good staff. On site restaurant & bar were better than average for a mainstream hotel. Location was decent for walking around esp close to Union Square, trolley, and if making longer walk to downtown or towards Fisherman's Wharf but definitely close to some very visible homelessness on the west side (toward The Tenderloin).
Hotel rooms are dated. But clean.
This hotel had the most efficient elevator system I have seen. The room was large, comfortable, well decorated. The entire hotel was clean and well kept. It is a fine hotel that has found a way to work despite a challenging neighborhood where, for too many, the streets have become their home.
Nice room, friendly reception and bar/restaurant staff. Handy location - 10 min walk to Moscone Convention Center. Not so good - food/drink was quite expensive.

I paid for the Skyline suite with dinning room which its the most expensive, and I got a mediocre room with "sky view" to the Air vents terrace!!! Still they wanted to charge almost twice like the value of the big suite. Ridiculous.
