It was not the cleanest room. It also became very loud at night. Overall the bed was comfortable and pleased with having a mini fridge but the room needed to be recleaned.

My room had a leaky pipe and the lock didn’t work at first but once I went to the front desk they showed me that the locks were new and there is a little bit of jiggling. You have to do with it in order for it to lock properly. Other than that I only stayed the night here and it was OK. I’m just glad it was clean.

This is a cheap, affordable property to stay at. It is basic and offers nothing beyond a stay at a hotel. However, its inflexible cancellation policy, the fact that even if you get insurance for your stay you cannot get a refund for unused nights as you can with other hotels, the old smell inside, lack of hair dryer and no steam iron makes this stay something I'd not make again unless I had no choice. If you are on a budget or if need to stay in the area, it's fine.

Friendly check-in. Clean and roomy. We needed a place to crash when the electricity went out, and the Alura was a warm, comfortable and affordable respite. The kitchenette was a big plus. Property is a bit dated but it didn’t matter. We enjoyed our stay immensely, and will recommend it to others.

I went to check in and gave the woman at the desk my card for my $50 deposit...she slides the card the first time and said that it didn't go through so she asks if she could try one more time so she slides it a second time and then says that the card is locked. I call my bank while still there and the bank said that the card wasn't locked and that the motel deducted the $50 deposit two times. So $100 missing from my account. Told the gentleman that was now at the counter which her the phone conversation and said that his system shows that i never paid any $50 deposit. I have to go back tomorrow to talk to his Supervisor but they were adamant that they didn't receive no money from sliding my card. I was so angry

Front dest didn’t want to help. “On lunch” most of the stay. Tv didnt work, dirty appliances, area was kinda scetchy an hard to relax. Must watch ur cars. Very secluded. Wasnt relaxing
