Nice HotelPosted Jan 31, 2015
Pros: The rooms were very nice and clean
Very nice Hotel, clean and friendly Staff. The only thing that wasn't good was the breakfast. Not enough choices to eat and only 1 waffle maker with a full room of people. Took to long to be able to make a waffle. So we left and went to a restaurant. Otherwise we had a great time.

Average hotel in convenient locationPosted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: Nice pool area. Close to freeway. Lots of dining options within close driving distance.
Cons: Better pillows. Turn off the elevator auto air freshner. Get an onsite coffee shop or restaurant setup.
Location: Beaches, shopping, wineries, dining and sight seeing.
Nice area and facility. The room was clean and in a quiet area. Unfortunately, the room heater and bathroom fans were quite noisy, the television was dark, and the remote stopped working. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were flimsy. The elevator was the worst part as it had an automatic airfreshner or deoderizer installed so we had to hold our breath each time we used it. There were no stairs closeby. "Breakfast" was included with the room, but meh... Waffles were good, but the rest of it was blah. The coffee tasted the same as the coffee in the rooms - rather dissappointing.

best buy away from beachPosted Jan 15, 2015
great place to stay for basic accommodations, not on beach...but close drive, and place has much charm and appeal. very clean...comfy, wonderful buy especially these days of cheap places but flea ridden...this is spotless and also well priced and charming what more could you want.

Hotel with typical spanish style architecture makes for a pretty courtyard. Room was clean and more than adequate for a single person. No complimentary breakfast was surprising.

Visiting Friends NearbyPosted Dec 17, 2014
Pros: Large comfortable room. Breakfast was okay.
Cons: Too noisy. We could hear the people walking in the room above and also road noise.
Location: San Luis Obispo
We stayed here because it was near our friends. Everything was okay, as we expected from a chain hotel. Our room was on the first floor as requested. The only problem was the noise from the room above us, and the nearby road.

Short Stay Was FinePosted Dec 2, 2014
Pros: The appearance of the property and the gracious front desk assistance.
Cons: Some type of food service or at least a little market would be helpful.
The exterior of the property was very attractive. The pool / spa area had apparently been redone recently and was nice. The room was okay, not great but comfortable for my quick stay. There is no food or beverage service available on the property, so you don't want to show up there hungry. The front desk personnel was very pleasant and welcoming.
