Solid apartment, great location.
Solid apartment. No frills, but a good space with comfortable beds. Easy 10-15 minute walk to Downtown SLO. Great value. Would stay here again.

Good location
It’s very sparse, but adequate for what we needed. Couldnt’ find a trash can except in the bathroom. Otherwise good. Suggest backing into the driveway as it is a bit scary to back out because it’s blind and you can’t really see if traffic is coming.

Hi Sara. The trash and recycle is a built in cabinet in the kitchen. I am also aways a quick text away if you ever have any questions.

Hi David. This home received an extensive remodel in 2020. Not sure why the garbage disposal failed but I had a plumber there installing a new one within an hour of your checkout when you let me know there was an issue. Hope you stay with us again soon with no disposal issues. ;)

Excellent Space and Flexible Host
Four families were meeting up for a weekend getaway and this house was perfect. We were originally planning on going in August, but Covid caused us to reschedule. We were worried about visiting a “beach town” in November, but we were able to turn it into an early Christmas weekend and the house was perfect for our cozy Christmas activities. The host was also very flexible on a couple different things which was SO very appreciated. The only star I took off was because we found a few items under beds that cleaners had missed, but if we hadn’t needed to retrieve toys from under there we never even would have known. The rest of the house was very clean.

Beds and couch were very very comfortable. -bonus points Instructions were a little difficult or none at all. Why is there never enough toilet paper in any rental. It’s cheap compared to the fees we pay. Toilet plugged and plunger was difficult to find.

Ouch. I think this might be the worst review I’ve ever received. The toilet plunger is kept under the bathroom sink. I left you 4 rolls of toilet paper in addition to the one that was out because I saw that you were staying a little longer than most people do. I am also just 5 min away and happy to answer any questions and accommodate any additional needs for guests. Any of the questions you did ask were outlined in the directions that I sent you prior to arrival. I do know that at one point, I scrolled up in our conversation to make sure that I had sent it because I started to question if I had based on your questions. I was able to verify that the information was there. I have always had people comment on how easy instructions are but I will look into it to see if I can make improvements. Hope you had a good holiday.

Fantastic location and stay!
I would definitely rent this house again. It was just as advertised. The property manager was responsive (had an issue for which they needed to run over and were very timely). The location is close to town and convenient to shopping. The street is a VERY busy street which was fine but backing out of the driveway was downright hazardous a few times so just be careful. Would not change my decision to rent again just something to be aware of. And, for wine country, you need more than four wine glasses! Super minor thing but I did drink wine out of a Solo cup over the weekend. :)

We had family coming in to visit and need additional space. This was perfect! It was within walking distance to us and the place had everything they needed. First and foremost, it was clean! My mom is very picky, and she enjoyed her stay - that says a lot! The contact-less check-in process was super fast and easy. We will definitely be booking again the next time they all come to visit.

The landscaping is beautiful! The photos are accurate. Great parking.
This place met our needs. We were looking for a house that had no stairs for my mother-in-law and it was perfect. The kitchen is minimally stocked but workable. If you plan on doing any cooking you’re going to need to bring spices and containers to store food in the refrigerator. Shower had great water pressure. A few lights needed to be changed and wasn’t sure how to get the garbage disposal to work. The landscaping is absolutely beautiful and there was plenty of parking. We were a 6 minute drive to Cal Poly. We would stay here again. Thank you!!

Perfect family home
This house was perfect for us while we were in SLO to visit our son at Cal Poly. The location was great and easy access to campus and downtown shops and restaurants. The house was very clean, kitchen had what we needed (it was missing a wine bottle opener that we did buy and left there), and beds were comfortable.

Spacious, close to downtown
Rental is on a busy street and it takes 20 minutes to walk downtown but it was fairly easy to find parking near restaurants. Spacious unit, and stays cool. No bottle opener in the kitchen is my only complaint!

Hi Tracy. Thanks for letting me know about the bottle opener. I will replace it the next time I am there. I might also add some directions for the quickest route to walk downtown. It should take about 10-15 minutes but there is a funny diagonal pattern in the streets that can quickly take you away from downtown if you don’t know the best route. Unfortunately, phone maps don’t alway route it the best.

Quick weekend get away.
What a wonderful little part of SLO right off the trail! New place is a studio above the garage. Well-stocked and everything was great. Christina is amazing and helpful and such a sweet host. They were very "COVID-careful" and had windows open for us when we arrived.

This was a clean, well equipped vacation rental. The host has thought through all the needs and stocked the house- from clean towels to pots. TVs in both living room and bed room was special. The access was private and easy. Kitchen is well stocked with essentials. All in all, it was an awesome stay. Thanks! And, I highly recommend it if you are going to be in SLO :)

This property is SUPER clean and well stocked - from paper products - to toiletries - to spices in the kitchen! All were perfect and Cristina the host was super fast whenever we had a question. The wifi worked great as well. We were in town to meet a new great granddaughter for the first time - so exciting! We will be back to visit our family again in the future and will definitely look to stay at this location. Property is on a very busy road but there is a private gate and fenced yard which is a good solution for this issue.

Clean new nice place in SLO
Visiting SLO for 1st time for my Son’s Cal Poly freshman orientation week. Christinas place was perfect size for our family of 4: 2 adults, teenage sons and 4 yo daughter, it felt very spacious because of the nice layout of the apartment. King bed was Uber comfortable and my son enjoyed the new style of sofa pull out which had plenty of nice clean extra linens. It fits one person best. Kind of tight for 2 but the extra twin pull out would have been great had my other son come with us. Loved the modern style that Christina designed the place with, minimal but cohesive and clean, all new freshly painted, tasteful furniture, just enough wall decor and not overdone, with a rustic vibe. Great full length mirror in master BR with thoughtful charging outlets added to the nightstand. Tons of storage in dresser and closet. The washer and dryer are awesome! Especially if you have a kid. Great Bathroom shower water pressure and clean tub for my daughter. Toiletries provided and plenty fluffy white towels. REALLY CLEAN! So much well thought out space for our travel items, clothes etc. She also added a big basket of kid toys and books that my daughter LOVED! Great to have our private entrance and back patio. We felt very safe and comfortable. My daughter loved the additional space to play in the back. The home is on the main road with VERY fast moving traffic, it was a challenge for us newbies to turn the car around or to cross the street to walk to the AMAZING beautiful nearby park with a great playground bathrooms and picnic area. It is A Great walk and has easy paths for our daughter to scooter along. If you’re not used to noise, it will be loud. We like to open windows to get fresh air so you will hear the big trucks and motorcycles flying by at 40-50 mph. We definitely recommend this place. Some items that would be nice: -Beach towels would have been helpful since we explored Pismo Beach -folding stool for high cabinets -broom dustpan or Vaccuum for messy kid -place to throw out garbage Overall 5 stars ⭐️!! Thank you.

Came down for a friend’s wedding in Santa Margarita- this home was perfect for my family and I. Quiet, relaxed and still has enough space for the four of us. Close enough to downtown for a short Uber or drive and a little walk.
