The best part of this home is the view and closeness to nature. The views are outstanding and the peacefulness and tranquility of the location was exceptional. There were a few maintenance details about the home that need attention in addition to some kitchen utensil refurbishments needed. These were communicated to the property manager. The property manager was very responsive and also dealt with an ant problem experienced in both bathrooms immediately. Bbq does not work well and needs replacing. Loved the digital check-in and communication feature that was in the home by the property company.

Great experience
This was one of the best homes I have stayed in. It was very clean and cozy. My family and I loved the area, it was very peaceful and relaxing. The home is was fully stocked with all the necessities; linens, dishes. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again in the future.

Perfect Friendsgiving Vacation!
Friends and I thought it’d be fun to do a friendly, personal wine tasting so Paso was our destination of choice. The cottage is located in a nicely remote area, behind a few vineyards with a gorgeous sunrise and sunset view from the back patio. Navigating the road to the cottage was a bit tough, but we definitely got used to it— definitely recommend not traveling in and out when it starts to get dark (which was tough for us because of Daylight Savings). Perfectly located by so many wineries featuring some great local selections and food.

Beautiful property. Bumpy road getting to it is no joke! House is bright and very comfortable with all the necessities. One wish was to have a few more TV stations for non streaming. Guys wanted to watch football but couldn’t get it.

Our family spent a weekend together as our youngest graduated from Cal Poly. The house was well stocked and we cooked most meals there. The view from the backyard was gorgeous! We ate outside enjoying the view and the weather. It was nice for all of us to be able to stay together. We would definitely stay here again.

A place to feel at home...
I chose this property mainly because it wasn't a generic house like most of the others. We all felt very at home immediately. The view was simply amazing. The only flaws in the stay were a bust out light on the patio and there are quit a few weeds in the grass that could have easily been pulled to make the view a 9 out of 10 🌟.

The property was just as advertised. Charming, secluded, clean, and well-stocked with necessary supplies and linens. We had a wonderful time and our 2 year-old son had a blast running around the yard looking for the rabbits on Easter Sunday.

Beautiful home, quiet and peaceful. Lots of outdoor seating and wonderful views. Spacious rooms and full kitchen with all the appliances needed (microwave, Keurig, coffee maker, toaster) and plates, utensil, etc. If arriving at night it can be a little dark but there are motion sensors that light the way along the path to the front door. I would definitely rent this home again even if it's just for a quick getaway.

Beautiful home for a getaway in a country setting.
The home was just what was shown on the website - everything from the easy entry through the front door to enjoying all the amenities inside is just what we had hoped for and received. The location is out in the ranch country and away from any city lights, traffic and noise. It is quiet, just right for relaxing and not too far from the wineries and events in the area. Just be sure to use your Google Maps to find the house on Lazy Hill Road because it's a little hard to find at first without your electronic map. There were rabbits in the yard every morning, deer just outside the fence on this hilltop setting. We hope to come back again now that we've been to this home for the first time. Highly recommended for a family getaway.

Lovely home.
My group had a lovely experience in this home. The kitchen is fully stocked, the patio is very comfortable, and the beds in particular were very comfortable. The only real downside about this home is its distance from Paso Robles, but really, once we were at the home we didn't want to leave. There are several wineries that offer tastings within walking distance and that made up for the distance to Paso Robles.

Lovely, well appointed home, beautiful views! Very quiet and tranquil. Bunnies roam the back lawn. The home is beautifully landscaped. The house is about 30 minutes from Paso Robles in horse country. The road is a little rough but the surroundings are gorgeous. It would be especially spectacular in the spring when the hills are green.

Perfect Location for the Pleasant Valley Wine Trail
We loved our stay at this property! The house worked perfectly for 5 of us. We spent a lot of time on the back deck enjoying the view and enjoyed our wine tastings and picnics at River Star and Four Sisters wineries. We would definitely go back here again the next time we are in the area!

Perfect place to unwind
Super quiet area. Only sounds you hear are the birds chirping and the roosters crowing. It was so nice to wake up in the morning and see the beautiful sunrise and at nite the stars were picturesque. As far as the cottage is concerned, fully appointed and really can’t think of anything else you might need. It’s very tastefully decorated and had a great home away from home feeling. This is definitely someplace we are looking forward to staying at in the future.

Another reviewer said this and it is true, the photos on Vrbo do not do this place justice. It is even better in person. The patio area has a wonderful view of the surrounding rolling hills. My 3 little kids enjoyed running around in the yard which is quite large. We got to see many bunny rabbits while we were there which they got quite a kick out of. The drive in is a bit long but I'd say worth it.

Our family enjoyed our stay very much. The property was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The property is situated on a hill with panoramic views of rolling hills and lots of bunny rabbits in the yard. Keep in mind that a portion of the road leading to the property isn't paved for about 1,000 feet or so. Also, it will take about 22 minutes to drive to San Miguel or Paso Robles, to nearest market or shopping center. Lastly, plan to drive up during day time as it may be difficult to access in the evening. So if you like horses and deer and coyotes and dogs and bunnies and views? This is the place for you.

Really Peaceful Setting
I wasn't looking forward to the distance from town, but was pleasantly surprised that the drive back and forth really added to the experience. The scenery is lovely all the way through. We visited with baby, toddler, and grandparents and all enjoyed the stay very much. Small detail but we were disappointedly unable to find the hammock, though did not reach out to inquire about it. We all agreed the beds weren't the most comfortable, but everything else was quite well thought-out and pristinely clean inside, so did not change the fact that we would happily stay again. The birds and rabbits do add so much, as others have noted. Such a peaceful view and revitalizing fresh air! We all enjoyed our stay very much.

I rented this property to take my mom and aunts for a wine tasting weekend to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday. Everyone absolutely fell in love with this beautiful and cozy house! The property was nice, peaceful, and relaxing. The only noise was the birds and roosters. The view was beautiful. We could see the sunset and beautiful colors. Amenities were all included.
