The staff was friendly, but the property in general was dirty. The building felt very run down. The bedding was not comfortable and felt stiff and cheap. The rooms were extremely small and only had one rolling chair near the window to sit at a desk. There were painters constantly outside our windows giving us zero privacy unless we shut the blinds which then had us sitting in the dark because there are only lamps in the room for light. We tried to rearrange the room a bit and when attempting to move a stool we noticed the handle was barely hanging on the stool and it just fell off. We will not be staying here again. It just felt very dirty and ran down.

1. Pillows smell like sweat. 2. The mattress is worn out and bad 3. Coffee was bad 4. Quiet 5. Over priced 6. Need more help at the front desk. The young lady was over whelmed but nice

This property is tired and needs updating. We were temporarily charged $50 pending inspection of our room after departure. I took several pictures showing the damage in the room, including a huge stain on the rug. The Internet wasn’t working during our stay. No curtains, just a thin privacy shade. Our room overlooked the pool and security lights were on all night. It was like daylight in there! The people at the desk were very nice. The only positive. Won’t be back.

Everything about this place was amazing. It’s your typical Hampton inn in the sense as they are above most of the other hotels on the market. A little pricey for the area but everything worked as it should. The only things I’d change were a more powerful ac unit for the rooms (kept the room at 71 and wouldn’t go lower) and a no pets sign in the breakfast area. It sounds petty but everything else is amazing in the hotel

At the time of booking our reservation, Expedia's site stated there's a $50 additional fee for a pet to stay at this hotel for a stay up to 4 days. I included a message to the hotel advising then that we were traveling with our dog and she would be with us. That message was either not transmitted to the hotel, or the hotel staff didn't read it. When we checked in at the hotel, we were charged a $75 pet fee instead of the $50 pet fee as stated in the information for this hotel on Expedia's site. When checking out, we inquired about whether the hotel manager would reduce the pet fee to $50 so it is consistent with what was stated in the hotel information with Expedia. The front desk staff person had an attitude with us for simply asking the question and told us that the hotel manager, by name, doesn't do what Expedia says and that the Hampton Inn isn't run by Expedia. Well, no kidding. We could have done without her attitude. Further, the air conditioner was very loud, making it hard to sleep, and there were a few things in our room/bathroom that were in a state of disrepair. We will not stay there again.

Service was below average.
The person that checked us in Wednesday evening around 7pm was super nice, she was very smiley. Everything was fine until the toilet backed up Friday around 6pm. I called for maintenance and I was told to come get the plunger, that maintenance left at 5pm. Once I unclogged the toilet, I asked for 8 towels to clean the mess we had on the floor. He came out with 2 stating they were at full capacity. I asked again and he brought me 2 more. Once I got all the water off the floor, I came back with the plunger and told same person we would need cleaning in our room the next day. Just to be sure, I stopped the next morning to make sure someone would clean our room and of course, she did not know anything about it. And if that was not enough, we had a few bugs in our room 219.
