The hotel set up was pretty neat, view of the pool, though not open this time of year. Area of town wasn't the best, but I didn't feel unsafe. I liked that they accepted pets, even cats. Breakfast was ok.

We had ordered two non-smoking rooms. One of them didn’t smell like smoke, but the other smelled like someone had just walked out of there smoking a cigarette, having been a smoker in the past it really made it hard to be in that room. The area outside of the property wasn’t well lit, but the courtyard was very pretty and well kept. Bathroom could have been cleaned better. There is hair in the drain and the tubs were dirty, but the rooms were quiet and so I was able to sleep.

I did not like this hotel. Upon seeing the conditions of the room, I told the front desk that I couldn’t stay and was told that I would still have to pay for one night but could get a refund for the remaining three hours nights if Expedia agreed (which they did). Afterward, the manager said that the front desk staff did not have that authority so I was out all the money. This hotel chain will never get my business again.

Dirty pillow case. Unsafe wiring on floor lamp. Black spots around tub caulking. Mold? TV did not show direct TV programs. Just a black screen with no picture or sound. Ground missing on hair dryer plug. No light when using the wall switch when entering a dark room. Clock did not display. Worst experience in 50 years of traveling. First time I have ever felt I felt compelled to give a negative review.

This place is a complete mess. Broken lamps, dirty sheets, duck tape covering a hole in the door. Burned cigarette holes in the duvet and smells like smoke in a non smoking room. Stains on the walls. I didn’t think a large corporate hotel could be this bad. Working in SF and a snow storm arriving, otherwise I would’ve left in the middle of the night to find another hotel. You should be embarrassed and ashamed Days Inn.

Well, the front desk clerk was NOT friendly at ll. She had her two dogs there and i love dogs and tried to make conversation with her but to no avail. The next clerk on duty with his black curley hair was very helpful with connecting my laptop to the internet. Clean and quiet

The 2 good things were price and location. Otherwise: no maid serice during your stay; rooms are loud and they echo; hasn't been updated in decades; the most uncomfortable beds ever--you get the idea.

Nothing was right!
Never will we stay here again. The sheets and so called bedspread both had stains on them. They only provided a sheet and very thin bedspread to cover up with. We were so cold my husband got up and opened the pull out couch to see if it had a blanket. It had two sheets which we did put on the bed. The furnace worked but not very well. We were able to log onto the wifi but nothing uploaded. I mean nothing! The tub was stained. The two towels provided were well worn. When I mentioned to the desk clerk about the Wi-Fi upon check out I was told “well no one else has issues”. I find that hard to believe. I could go on but this place is not worth my energy.

I liked the location, a short drive to the santa fe plaza, meow wolf, etc. The price reflected all the shortcomings of the room. This is an old motel without any major updates, the beds are uncomfortable and it was difficult to keep the room temperature consistant. There is a nice little mexican restaurant attached to the motel and they have great guacamole and friendly staff.

Very old motel. They did do some remodeling, but not very well in areas. Parking lot had litter. There was a full trash can that sat overfull as the garbage collectors came.

Ice all over in front of the main lobby. Room 120 had incomplete bedding. And the hair dryer was broken. The chairs are very stained and dirty. The bathroom was not very clean. The phone did not work to call the front desk.

Room was dirty. Breaksfast was a waffle maker. Took 2 days to get clean towels. Breakfast ran out of lemonade on day 3 and yogurt day 4. I wouldnt let a crackhead stay here

The ground floor room which I requested was right by the handicapped parking area so it was very convenient. Breakfast was very nice.

The area where the hotel is located was a bit shady - some sketchy looking people in the parking lot and surrounding areas. I felt uneasy about leaving my vehicle where I couldn't see it. The property had some strewn trash and cigarette butts (it was a tad windy though) and the housekeeping carts, empty boxes, and trash bags were left in the middle of the walkways. It was cold and snowy the day I stayed and the stairs appeared to have been cleaned/hosed down so they were wet which seemed a bit unsafe. My actual room was dated and worn but appeared clean. There was no shower curtain which was very odd. The water was hot and the mini fridge worked well once I plugged it in. The heater eventually warmed up the room and it seemed to work fairly well. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. The room and property seemed fairly quiet. The breakfast was standard fare - bagels, yogurt, toast, etc. For the price and only staying one night, it was okay.

The room was ok. The microwave did not work. The outdoor stairs and balcony walkways need a real scrub. The traveler’s breakfast is never great, but this was bad. The hot water was not hot. There were no napkins. The coffee was bad. The chairs were all very stained. I know it was a low cost motel, but this was bad. Thank goodness the room was ok.

Good location for Meow Wolf visit. Clean. Peeling paint in bathroom. Clerk put us in wrong room type to start. Went back to ask for extra towels - had to wait 5 minutes for clerk to come to counter. Clerk said he would bring towels to room in 10 minutes - 20 minutes later he did.

Bad beds, no shower curtains, and no power
When we arrived it looked fine, but then I was told that the king bed we booked was sold out (we booked several months ago) and we were being given "two queens at no extra cost". Why would we want two queens for one couple and why would he ever consider charging us for something we didn't want? There were people not staying at the hotel that were loitering. That was a small issue compared to the power not being on in our room. It was 11:30 at night so we had to walk back down to get it turned on. Then there was no shower curtain and the bathroom drain literally came off the tub. The two beds were absolutely terrible and jostled like an earthquake was happening every time one of us shifted. They were super hard and springs were poking us. We at least had breakfast which was fine, but very small. They provided waffles, yogurt, bread, and maybe one other thing I can't remember. Due to lack of protein, we decided to eat elsewhere on the rest of the trip. If you can afford better, I recommend doing so.

You pay for what you get
It was definitely not the best and I was there for my grandfathers funeral services. Cons: The odd stains on the couch in the room. The worst door I've ever seen, and I've been to Chicago, twice, different areas. The door was not fully flush with the doorframe, so some light would shine in. It looked like a door that has definitely been through it. Like possibly broken into multiple times and could possibly be broken into again. I am a very light sleeper so the various people walking around and talking, plus the garbage truck in the morning meant for a restless night on my end. However, I can't fully blame the hotel on this when its typically guests fault for that one. Also, the location was a little sketchy. I've never stayed in Santa Fe before, always just went through it. Pros: The pool area looked clean and fun, but left too quicly to use. The free breakfast, was pretty decent, no complaints there. Plus we got to bring our dog, for an extra fee of course, but the fee was very reasonable compared to other places. I was very lucky to have him with me given the door situation. Staff was friendly and efficient.

I reserve 2 rooms for overnight stay to rest coming back from Colorado no one at the desk when we got there kept ring the bell my husband kept yelling hello until a young guy came room smell but the beds were comfortable the other room tv did not work call the front desk no show breakfast cereal and toast not much to choose but we did tell another man about the tv and right away he went to take care of it but we had already check out

The linen’s were dirty there were bugs on the wall and ceiling. The bathroom was very small there was only one towel for two people. The air conditioning did not work right. The area the hotel is in is not safe. There are a lot of homeless people up and down the road at night.

The neighborhood feels unsafe. A lot of homeless, found needles in front. There were people in and out afternoon on that didn’t appear to be staying there or working there. A lot of guests staying there that have contracts in town for work and they were noisy and acted like it was their personal property. The staff tried their best and were very friendly. The room was clean and a nice size. Breakfast is continental but no proteins ( eggs,meat, old apples, no tea). But i will say the pool was great.
