The room that was booked into was like being in a beautiful treehouse. Light everywhere and very quiet. The staff were extremely helpful, especially David. Worked on any requests or challenges with professionalism and kindness.

Had an exceptional stay a the Sapa Horizon Hotel. Conveniently located less than 100 meters off the city square, the hotel is in the center of everything but just far enough off the busier streets for a quiet stay. The staff was very welcoming and provided spot on recommendations on attractions and dining options. The room was spacious and comfortable. To borrow a saying from boxing, Sapa Horizon punches above its weight class. Highly recommend. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

I loved Sapa & the Sapa Horizon Hotel!
I was an older woman traveling alone to Sapa & the front desk was MOST helpful! They spoke excellent English, helped with a same-day village tour especially tailored for me -- at 76 yrs old, I didn't want to do a lot of trekking. My local Hmong tour guide spoke great English & took me thru her village. The front desk helped with Frangipan Mt'n tkts also. My room was as shown in the picture.

Had an issue where my overnight bus ride from Ha Long Bay to Sapa ended up having me arrive to Sapa at around 4am (where check-in was at 1pm). When arriving at the hotel, I was greeted by a very friendly fellow (Pham Anh Nam). Needless to say he was extremely helpful and was able to help me check-in to my room (mountain view). Even at that time early in the morning, he was as ever vibrant and most hospitable! My stay there has been great, and even the buffet break is impressive. Next trip to Sapa, I would have no second thoughts but to go to Sapa Horizon again. Thank you so much Pham Anh Nam!!

Fantastic stay
This is a fantastic hotel. David-owner and his team makes his guest so comfortable in our 3 nights stay, no hidden agenda. Unlike our earlier hotel stay in Hanoi old quarter, when we did not take up their local tour, the hospitality changed. David provide good suggestions on what we should do or not.. this is really useful as we have short stay, understanding our needs and propose and shortlist for us are really helpful! Breakfast is fantastic with good spread and adhoc menu like pho, eggs and pancakes., all are made with care and they are really tasty! Strongly recommend to stay in this hotel.

Lovely hotel in Sa Pa.
Couldn’t fault the staff and service received here. Above and beyond the usual pleasantries, they are so keen to ensure your stay is perfect. The bed was so comfy and room clean and pleasant. The only disappointment was the weather which meant we couldn’t see the wonderful view from our room! Not the fault of the hotel at all though.

Great Location, hidden in a quiet corner just beside the church. A short 2 minutes walk and you are right smack in the middle. Front Desk Manager and Bellboy were two exceptional people who made the trip alot better. I believe the hotel will have a great view if it isnt so foggy

Great experience! Room is spacious, well furnished and clean. Location is very strategic, just next to the Stone Church at town centre. What really makes Sapa Horizon Hotel stands out is the people. The hotel manager, his assistant, and other staffs are very friendly, sincere and helpful. We had a very good and memorable time there.

Incredible stay!
This is a lovely hotel located close to everything you need in Sa Pa. The rooms are bright (mountain view rooms are amazing), clean and spacious. The breakfast is plentiful and lots of a la carte items to choose as well. David and his team are wonderful and welcoming and helped to arrange a trekking guide. A perfect stay in Sa Pa!

This is the most friendly and cosy hotel we have stayed in. The rooms feel homely, the location is quiet but close to everything and the views of the mountains are unbeatable. But the best thing about this hotel are the staff. David and Tom go out of their way to help with any need. All the staff are impeccable. It's the staff that make the stay here so personal and friendly.

Great hotel in Sapa!
The hotel is located one block away from the main square of Sapa (where the church is). It was close to both dining and transportation, all within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel was great - the room was spacious and well-equipped. Complimentary bottles of water and fresh fruit was provided by the hotel. Wifi was fast and English channels available on the TV. The complimentary breakfast was also a huge plus, not only for its convenience but for the variety of food that was offered each morning. There some some buffet items, ranging from Asian to Western, but there were some items you could request cooked to order, which included pho, pancakes, and french toast. The staff were particularly hospitable and made my stay truly enjoyable. I was well-looked after for the entirety of my visit. I attribute this to the house manager, David, who was always at the front desk during my stay. He is a hard worker and is very attentive to the needs of the guests. He set the tone very well at the hotel and should be commended for his work. I would like to visit Sapa again, and would certainly pick this hotel again.

Upon arrival, staff were quick to greet us and help with luggage. Clean lobby and delicious cinnamon tea were also nice to have while checking in. Coming from Hanoi, we had not seen the sun in several days so it was a delight to come up to our room on the 6th floor and have a nice warm sun with a great view of the mountains and tow blaring in through the big windows. All the details in the room were on point - coffee maker pre-filled to the maximum - which i needed - and the owner made me a cup to show how it worked, big comfy bed with chargers and lamps on each side. The owner invited us to join his family and friends for x-mas dinner in the breakfast area. We enjoyed a traditional hot pot with more than enough prime cuts of fish and meat for everyone! Perfect location on a quiet street just a few minutes walking distance to everything. Owner and staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond all expectations, they even started breakfast early for us on our last day to make sure we were fed. Breakfast was delicious; beef pho, omelet, and the pineapple pancake were our particular favorites and a very nice way to start the day. Thank you David and your team, hope to see you again soon!

The friendliest hotel ever!
This must be one of the friendliest and most welcoming hotels we have ever stayed in! The service is truly exceptional, and the family room was very spacious and had everything we could possibly wish for. We arrived on Christmas Eve, were welcomed with a bottle of wine, and were offered a free full Christmas dinner and drinks in the evening (this was astounding to us, and showed great hospitality compared to other hotels we checked who charged high prices for Christmas dinner/galas!). They also kindly gave us warm sandwiches for the road, going back to Hanoi. The food was excellent -- both breakfast, dinner and sandwiches. Staff were very attentive to giving good service, and we appreciated the gesture of coming up with cold drinks to us when we got back from trekking. The family room does not have a mountain view (which we knew in advance from the description), but it has a nice big terrace, and from there we could hear evening mass and bell-ringing from the nearby Church. A truly wonderful experience for the entire family. We would highly recommend this hotel (which is also conveniently located right in the center)!

Ms Chau and all the staff are really genuine about providing great service. Their smile and concern came from the heart, and they made sure all the requests we made were met. Arrangements for trip, info about area, provision of shower even after we checked out... and even thoughtfully prepared warm bahn mi for us when we left for our bus to hanoi. So touched!

Excellent customer focused service from all the staff especially the manager, David and the receptionist, Chau. They always think in advance of customer needs eg. providing shower facility after check out before we departed when we were back from a trekking, offering packed warm sandwich to 5 of us for our long trip back to Hanoi. However pls note that there is a construction going on in front of the hotel.

Horizon Hotel is a very comfortable and friendly place to stay. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. The location is excellent and the room very quiet. We highly recommend Horizon as your place to call home while in Sapa.

It was lovely staying at Sapa Horizon, although the weather was not that good when we were day but our room comfort us, we chose the double balcony room. The hotel service was fantastic, they gave us early checking when we just arrived in the morning after our overnight train journey which was really helpful. I really recommend this hotel.

Service here was exemplary, they made you feel like family with lots of nice touches ....free fruit/wine etc. Everybody had genuine smiles, especially the boys in the restaurant. Stayed 4 nights, went out to the town to eat on 2 evenings and were disappointed or got stomach issues.We should have eaten every night in the hotel. Sadly it is very quiet in the hotel restaurant in the evening, and it really shouldn't be.We found the food delicious and very reasonable.Try the hotel restaurant for dinner ! You have to put up with a lot of construction roadwork everywhere in town.It seems this will continue for the next 2 yrs

Executive room - what a delight up in the clouds.

We were expecting a stand-alone hotel building by itself, but it was actually reside at one of the non-prominent terrace shops. However, all the rest of the experience with the Hotel was marvelous! We were guided by Mr Kim to our room with brief explanation. Our room is identical as in the photo shown but I found both the room and toilet were a bit too small. It would be great if there was a Jacuzzi Bath Tub attached in the bathroom. Complimentary Red Wine was an additional perk for us. We love the sumptuous breakfast. Individual bottled fresh juices were available and the food were freshly cooked with quality. This had been the best breakfast we had in our whole of Vietnam trip this time! As we were late to catch up for our coach to transfer to Hanoi, and we had yet to have our lunch. Mr Kim offered us lunch. He specially arranged his staff to buy the ingredient to cook just for us. We were touched by his kind action! But due to the tight timing, we couldn't wait for them to cook and we just got to leave. Mr Kim arranged a Taxi to send us to the Pick-up point. It was fortunate that we had the Taxi arrangement made by the hotel. Our coach transfer pick-up point was changed without our notice. With the help of the people around at the wrong pick-up point and the taxi driver, we managed to get there in time without much hassle. The Taxi driver informed us that it was his responsibility to send us safely to our destination as instructed by the Hotel.

One of the very few positive experiences we've had during our week in Vietnam. When everyone else was harassing, inconvenient, flat out mean to us, the staff here was particularly attentioned, kind, and welcoming. Seeing our state of exhaustion after a horrendous night train experience, Mr. Kim offered us refreshments, a free room upgrade, a free bottle of wine, and complimentary breakfast we were not entitled to from our booking. He made us feel at home, and singlehandedly ensured that our 24hours in Sapa was THE highlight of our Vietnam trip.
