"We loved the house and all of its charm. The view was amazing. Loved watching the freighters on their way to/from the Locks. We were there during both hot days (85) & cold (40). The ceiling fans kept the place very comfortable during the heat & the furnace kept us cozy when the weather turned. Great location with an amazing view! Convenient to gas, places to eat, groceries, and more. Host was responsive & helpful. We would love to return again!"

"My son plays hockey in the Soo so we travel here often. Our favorite property is this one. Three comfy beds (one is a sofa sleeper), fans, nice bedding and towels, fully stocked kitchen, close driveway parking, quiet location… it has it all. Very close to the Pullar for hockey families. Close to downtown and the Locks. Dog friendly. Always clean. This is the downstairs unit in a two story home. You can rent both if need more space. Highly recommended."

"Waking up here for a week was wonderful! This stay checked a lot of boxes for us and was a great place for us to get out and explore a large portion of the U.P. The wonderful back porch and patio areas are the highlight of this property, with the gorgeous Pine River and a busy beaver to watch, the mornings here were wonderful. This property offers a lot of amenities, including handsoap, some sample toiletries, and linens. I was a bit surprised there wasn't any dishsoap, but being inexpensive...

"Very nice stay. We had a very nice time. The big house is beautiful and very roomy. The cabin was comfy for two. The property and the view were wonderful right on the shore. Off the beaten path quite area. We had an eight point buck and his 3 little brothers in the front yard one day and a doe eating apples in the back yard another. Ducks along the shore most everyday. Host is great to work with although we really had no need to contact her as everything was as she said it would be. Check in was...

"Quaint and cozy cabin on a beautiful property! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Communication from the host was excellent. We would definitely stay again. Wish we could have stayed longer! Just a note that once on the island there is only one bar that serves food, and one nice little store that has a good variety of necessities, so plan accordingly."
