We especially liked the large pool, the outdoor dining area, the simple furnishings and the proximity to the sea. If you had any questions, you immediately got a friendly answer from the owner. "House was lovely….multiple stories with a sea view from everywhere. Enjoyed the patios, jacuzzi and pool. Quiet area during the week, but neighborhood got much busier on the weekend. Only negative is the drive up/down the mountain. Thought it was a little treacherous on some of the curves and switchbacks if another vehicle was approaching in opposite direction. We saw some folks struggling with the stairs and it is a 15 minute walk to a sand beach or a 5 minute walk to a smaller beach. If you're not going to eat on site then it's an $18 euro cab ride into Begur or a 15 minute walk to the nearest restaurant. This worked well for us but it won't work for everybody.
